Re: Mosrite - Fuzzrite [schematic]
cool, thanks, AG! I tried making the germanium fuzzrite based on the following layout maybe a week or two ago with sockets for the transistors, but got kinda lackluster results. Anyone made that one and have any advice? If I remember right it was pretty screechy at the fuzzier settings, almost like...

Re: Univox - Superfuzz [schematic]
It sounds like I think it should, though the trim pot seems tricky to dial in. Left to right (and vice versa) doesn't seem to offer a linear change from one thing to another, just various spots where there are varying degrees of gating and output. A big difference in output at some settings. Not su...

Re: Univox - Superfuzz [schematic]
My friend Max came over with his SF build to have me help troubleshoot it. It was obvious from the sound that he had reversed the transistors and fried them before putting them in correctly. Re: Proco - Brat
i think you can turn over the faceplate on the model. the other side has the sweet hot pink Brat logo. [smilie=a_chuckle.gif] Yep. I'm going to house something else in there. I got this pedal for free at a local guitar store by asking for broken pedals for the purpose of using the enclosure. The gu...

Re: Musitronics - Mutron Phasor II
I've got one I need to repair. The sweep is intermittent. When it does sweep, it makes giant spacey swooshes. This one needs a recap for sure... hopefully that's all. I've repaired two of these that had LFO IC's with cold solder joints. In both cases, I had to remove the IC, clean the legs and sold...
