Re: Dumbloid [traced]
These guys looking for a $100 $600 dollar pedal... Those posts by these guys are pure comedy over on tgp. Some people tried to step in and explain that these SUPERDUPER pedals are nothing but simple circuits and need hype to sell. That hype came right from these guys on this thread. This Dumb pedal...

Re: Dumbloid [traced]
an Overpriced OD?
gooped?
sounds like a Dumble?
raving about it at TGP?
It has to be some elaborate FSB prank surely?
The Dumbloid thread on TGP is hilarious, some truly idiotic comments on there. There's gonna be some egg on faces when this turns out to be some Zendrive rip-off.

Re: Amp parts : pack of iskras - piher - mustards - micas ..
totaly normal, not the same pieces, you're cheating. your iskras are 1/3w, not1/2w as required for an autentic build. you mustards 0,68uf are either radial or in the beginning of the bids . check this : https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mullard-Mustard-Capacitor-0-68-MFD-selected-3-160-V-New-Old-Stock-/36062...

Re: Amp parts : pack of iskras - piher - mustards - micas ..
Hi Bootle, no problem, i understand that. Well, a few : the iskra 100k are super rare, and lately they were 20 $ each. there are 5 of them. some other iskra are much cheaper. the mustards 0,022uf are arround 20 $ each too. that's 40 $. the 0,1uf are generaly arround 12 $ each. the mustard 0,68uf is...

Anyone buy those NKT275 pairs on ebay?
Just wondering if anyone took the plunge on a pair of those genuine NKT275s from the seller 'elitetone' on ebay? https://www.ebay.com/itm/NKT275-Germanium-Transistors-PNP-2pcs-tested-for-Fuzz-Face-nkt-275-/130946086193?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e7cfeb531 I bought a pair for someone who wan...

Re: Amp parts : pack of iskras - piher - mustards - micas ..
I like mojo parts and I don't mind paying the market price for them, so I don't want to get into an argument with anyone about whether they are worth paying for. But I just roughly calculated the market price for those parts, even going by inflated ebay prices, and it comes to between $200-$300 at t...

Re: Mxr - Blue Box
Worked up this vero layout a few months ago, figured someone else might want to use it. Verified by me. mxrbluebox.gif I think the orientation of Q1, Q2 and Q3 in hewie's vero is wrong. the emitters should be grounded, so they should be flipped around (if using 2N3904). http://t1.gstatic.com/images...

Analogman - Sun Bender [traced]
Supposedly a Tonebender Mk1.5, but looks to me like a Sunface with OC-type trannys.

fuck, nevermind,
I was looking at it as if the input was on the left.
been looking at my own veros too long, I always use blue as the input wire.

Re: Rogue Sound - Hatchet Harry & Blind Mary
And here's vero for Mary. Grasp (Level) pot value is not verified, but linear 100K should work fine (if it's to treble can be changed to 470K). C1 capacitor value is not confirmed, C5 as well. For C1 should be something between 1nF to 10nF - 5.6nF is good place to start for classic treble ranges. F...

http://www.freeimagehosting.net/t/38f1l.jpg This is the version I've been building in to the Sonic Boom 3 in One pedals. It has more than enough tweakability for anything I've ever needed out of this effect. You can dial back the depth and cut pots and get a basic amp like tremolo. Dial the depth b...

Re: Baby Fuzz [gutshots]
I'm wondering if the 100u IS off the emitter. Pretty big though. I reckon it does come off the emitter. and I'd bet there's a 2.7k resistor hiding behind that electro too. I've got it on the breadboard now (with BC107s, gains around 220) set up like that, basically a Vox Distortion Booster without ...

tried working out the resistor values, from what I could tell...
from left,
blue/grey/orange - 68k
red/grey/orange - 28k
red/purple/brown - 270R
brown/black/orange - 10k
trop fish caps are 0.1uf
electro is 100uf/16V
