Re: Dunlop UV-1 rev A issue

Oh ok. So the LED in the photocoupler doesn't actually flash, just adjusts intensity. I'll have to check that transistor. I seem to be getting enough voltage to the bulb I would think, but the "phase" isn't strong enough. That is correct. The LED in the photocoupler just increases or decr...

Re: Dunlop UV-1 rev A issue

I don't really understand this circuit. What is the point of having both the photocoupler and the LDR's with the incandescent? I've been chasing thinking the lamp being dim was the problem, but is it actually a fault with the photocoupler? In this version of the Uni-Vibe, the photocoupler replaces ...

Re: Bluesprint - pedalpawn

They're claiming it was traced from one of SRVs personal TS-9s (guess we know who bought the one that came up for sale a few months ago). I've never read that his pedals Tube Screamers were modified in any way. I plan on waiting for the frenzy to die down and grabbing a used one unless someone here...

Re: Bluesprint - pedalpawn

I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a stock TS9 and the stock version of the first Bluesbreaker circuit.

Re: Shin-ei/Univox Uni-Vibe [Replica Files]

Hi Andre, Personally I think that none of the boutique builders around the world can purchase enough volume of components to obtain "custom-made"parts... Perhaps this builder have depart from the classic 5mm LDR´s and accidentally discover that ones of 7mm in diameter suits better in thei...

I have one of these that I am happy to solder and measure component values if you'd like?

I'll have to check this out on mine. Haven't used it in ages so I have forgotten what it sounds like.

Re: Voodoo Labs - Tremolo [schematic]

I wonder if the volume control of the four-control version is just a the pot wired as a variable in the feedback loop of the op amp in the audio path?

You're probably looking at something like the circuit shown in Figure 22 in the LT1054 datasheet:

I believe 'Ground' is the line between what you have ID'd as +18VDC and GND as it is a dual power supply.

Man..i swear i would be less disgusted if this pedal was a rehoused chinese pedal. Blatant mkt lies.. i could not hold my laughter if i see anyone believing this garbage and having it on their pedalboard. They'll pay enough YouTubers with enough clout to get the pedal over with people. Plus it's bu...

The thermogenic properties of the filament are indeed a key part of a good vibe.

thanks
From my research, you want LDRs with the largest range in terms of light and dark resistance i.e. 5649 on this datasheet. How fast they respond is also important. The faster, the better.

Re: Roger Mayer Purple Haze Limited Edition

The DC power jack is in an odd place. But I guess you plug it in and then have to thread the cable through the notch in the side of the enclosure that matches the one in the baseplate.
