Re: Trombetta Bone Machine
Can I point out that is a pretty old pedal. The wires and switches have been jostled around quite a bit. I'll submit a current one. Yikes here's the Rotobone (though an older one as well) I change things daily. The "goop" is just rubber. Always has been. Says inside every instruction sheet...

Re: Rockett WTF Fuzz [traced]
I do have specific numbers I love for each tranny. It's a balance of dynamics, saturation and noise floor as Q2 is not just a buffer. I use a BC183 in Q1 for some builds and Q2 is adjusted accordingly. I would socket it up and find your sweet spot with your amp. My Classic 30 clean channel and my Hi...

Re: Rockett WTF Fuzz [traced]
Hey, Fuck you mother fuckers!!! :D Nice job. Though not exactly as I do it. Go with a moderate 5088 and a T0-18 2907 for the tranny's. You might find that .001 and .0022 make nice light presence cuts without throwing a blanket over it. Yep. The boost is just my $1.50 boost. Nothing but a second Vol ...

The descriptions posted on TGP remind me of the CJOD. No idea of the topology.

Re: Paul Trombetta Design "Tromboner" Fuzz , Octave
Hi Flood, A humble "Thank you" It is a great circuit to mess with. A booster section after it is a good idea. I make a dual pedal called the bettabone where you can add vol. boost, more gain, more low end or tame the highs with the tone control. Very handy. Tornita is Fuzz face based. The ...

Re: Tech21 - Double Drive
I had the original Double Drive 5 years back. Lots of smooth mids ala TS. I was foolish enough to get a Double Drive 3X after that thinking I could dial in a cool quick carry programable gig pedal. The most sterile, least musical pedal I have ever owned. Had nothing in common with the original. The ...
