Re: Blackout Effectors - Musket [traced]

yeah man, its the "special twosome" thats the better one that lets you have the fix'd and musket on independently. the normal twosome is set up to only have one or the other on (lame). but they only make like 100 of the special ones and they sold out super fast... man i am starting to soun...

Re: Blackout Effectors - Musket [traced]

100% agree, i got to play it with the band today and it is killer, its all the muff you need with the ability to blend it in with the rest of the band to be heard/or not overkill.
now i want a fix'd fuzz!

Re: Blackout Effectors - Musket [traced]

well i bought one today in real life...this thing slays all other muffs and muff types out there. i have all the rusian muffs and some old NYC ones and this is even better...i'll get to the bottom of the boost and report back.

Re: Blackout Effectors - Musket [traced]

mystery solved? a big muff some sort of boost in front (single transistor fuzz?) input cap blend for focus and maybe the version 2 tonestack http://www.muzique.com/lab/tone3.htm with the "body" control as the mids? http://www.muzique.com/images/tone_mov.gif maybe for the boost it has some ...

Re: Blackout Effectors - Musket [traced]

yeah, i checked out that part of the fix'ed fuzz thread...i dont think its just an lpb-1, cause i ran my lpb-1 in front of a green russian, and a 70s usa muff and it sounded like ass, there is something more going on. i guess i should just start trying out different boosts in front and see what the ...

Re: [Perfboard] Wah Layouts

hey Sinner, one error on the colorsound layout:
the 0.01uf cap and the 1.5k resistor need to be connected, just a missing black line in the drawing.
other than that, it is confirmed.

thanks a lot!

Re: Tycobrahe - Parapedal [schematic]

i made up a parapedal from the schematic, but i used two 22uf caps because i didnt have any 33uf caps on hand...do you think that might be why the effect seems to not quite sound as "full" as the demos i have heard online? i wish i would have bread boarded this before i made it on a pcb, t...

sure thing, hopefully those numbers check out...they were hard to read, it looks like they are all painted over to make them extra hard to make out.

Re: Tycobrahe - Pedalflanger [schematic]

so here are the values of the IC's / Transistors i could make out...sadly a couple were sanded off and painted over it seems. royceprinting.com/2006files/john/pedalflanger_parts%20copy.jpg you can right click and view the image in full, but the only thing that seems to be cut off is the green circle...

totally, i would guess they sound the same too, it wouldn't make any sense to not tune them all the same.

Re: Tycobrahe - Pedalflanger [schematic]

This is sort of curious. I have one but the entire PCB has been coated in a paint-like red substance. Maybe dipped in paint after it was wired with leads? Its weird that the one in this thread is not gooped like mine is. weird, the only thing i can think of is that it is because this was a limited ...

Re: DAM - Drag'n'Fly ( D*A*M )

yeah the bias is in that range, i am thinking maybe the hfe of the cv7112 might be a little low? would that cause it to have less sustain?
