Re: Hadley - Harmonic Converger
Baja; Can you give this a minute? On the Digitech RP1000, the send/return circuit that would work best for the HC is 600 ohm send and return. If I understand correctly, this active design version has a much higher input and output impedance. Is this correct? If so, can the active design circuit be m...

Re: ADDROCK OLE' YELLER OVERDRIVE [traced]
Yes, it's a TS clone. The Addrock line is designed by H L Wilson, an employee at Alpha Music in Virginia beach, Va. http://www.alpha-music.com/ProductCart/pc/showsearchresults.asp?pageStyle=H&resultCnt=10&keyword=addrock&submit.x=0&submit.y=0&submit=submit Alpha rarely seems to h...

Any circuit information on any of these? I have a Classic, but it doesn't do a Vox or a Marshall as nicely as these seem to do?

Re: Paul Cochrane - Timmy [traced]
Paulc,
I would be happy to buy one if I could figure out how to do it. However, no one seems to carry them, and the few I see on ebay seem pretty highly priced. Is there a secret handshake I need to learn to place credit (and cash) where it is due?

Before I have a go at designing a vero for the Tim, which I have never done before and which should be educational for me, has anyone already do one?

Re: Univox - Superfuzz [schematic]
Personally, except for the fact that it's AC powered instead of DC, I've always preferred the Univox Unifuzz to the Superfuzz. It's more versatile and useful.

Re: Hadley - Harmonic Converger
Right; I think that if you require stereo, you will need two HC devices, or two HC circuits in one housing. I only use the RP-500 in mono, so I'm only interested in the XLR issue for its noise rejection qualities. I just need a single HC device, but I'd like balanced XLR in and out rather than 1/4 u...

Re: Hadley - Harmonic Converger
I'm hoping to use this build with a Digitech RP-500. It has 1/4 line outs with unbalanced signal, so I can use that if I need to. However, it also has XLR balanced outs. I was hoping to use this as the input to this build, and then continue the XLR balanced out configuration on the build output. I'm...

Re: Hadley - Harmonic Converger
I think in this application XLR is carrying two versions of the same signal that are 180 degrees out of phase with respect to each other. I think I need to invert the phase of one of the signals and then combine the two at the te HC input and at its output. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks
