Looks cool Pawel, gonna breadboard this one up and give her a rip. Looks like Q3 may have had his name legally changed to Q4.

Re: Thomas Organ Co. - Cry Baby Stereo Fuzz Wah
[On second thoughts, I'm not sure, the '03 brown inductor isn't shown on that site.] I always thought the brown 03 predated the square. Funny, with the borderline obsessive fascination with wah history, I can't find anything definitive online. I have modded and repaired around 70 Crybabies and vint...

Re: 2 X 6V6GT amp build suggertions needed.
Still sitting there on the shelf in the shop. I have been busy with life (wife kids, maybe a 3rd one of those on the way!) and so many pedal builds and amp repairs, plus school, I havent set aside any time for developing it further. I have the iron and my notes and layout, but there is still some wo...

Re: 2 X 6V6GT amp build suggertions needed.
Here are some of the common 18 watt lite layouts, using the EF-86 layout with a 6sj7 instead isn't too bad, and then changing from the EL-84 to 6V6 output section can be done with a few value changes.

Re: 2 X 6V6GT amp build suggertions needed.
At 18watt.com there is a 18 watt lite variant the uses a 6SJ7 octal preamp tube, if you are looking for a big greasy overdriven tone that might be a nice way to go with 6V6 in the output section. Here is the thread, but you have to be a member to see it.: http://www.18watt.com/modules.php?name=Forum...

I have one of these coming in for repairs and a re-house, anyone have a schematic for it floating around? The one that used to be out there is no longer around. Thanks!

Re: FS: Rebote delay, & some loaded PCB's incl Bad Stone
The Fat Pants is a simple boost based on the EP-3 Echoplex preamp input. Basically it has a Max1044 charge pump running a Jfet at 18v for high headroom and then a volume and fat control. The fat control could be called a Skinny/Fat control because the first part of the pot rotation is all twangier t...

You would need 2 SPDT toggles, a 3PDT stomp, two 100kB pots and a 1mB pot to use all of the options/mods. Here are the important links: http://www.digitaldestruct.com/BadStoneBOM.txt http://www.digitaldestruct.com/BadStoneSchematic.bmp https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=10645 ht...

Hey guys, Have some stuff for sale over at Madbean's and I thought I'd post it here too: Rebote 2.5 Delay Works great, complete pedal in a 125b with top monted jacks that makes it hard to find a place for on my pedalboard. I didn't build it, another forum member from Madbean's did and offered it in ...

Re: [Vero] Diaphanous Exploder
I just breadboarded this, and it took all night to get it right. I gotta say the time and effort spent were utterly meaningless compared to the sonic benefits of this circuit. The rest of my pedals are going into the dumpster right now. I have achieved TOAN!

Re: Fryette Effects SAS EF86 Overdrive [traced]
Does the EF86 pick up the mechanincal noise of turning it on and off? EF86's are usually super microphonic, so it makes me wonder how smart it is to put one in a stompbox?

Today I dismantled an old organ which, among many other components, resulted in some 25 ECC83's and 2 KT66's. Furthermore a lot of capacitors, some awesome speakers, and 4 very scarce Germanium transistors . I'm very happy If the above is near the experience you had, welcome to the "Organ Gutt...

ITW Paktron Poly Film caps. GREAT caps in a wah as your picture shows. That is the good inductor too, the "03" Stack of Dimes.

Re: VOX JMI Era AC30 layout
I think Magnetic Components transformers are a great value for how well they are built. I am headed out to my shop to replace the OT in my '61 Supro 1616T with one of their multitap 15w SE units right now. Here is the link to their Vox stuff: http://www.classictone.net/Vox-Style-Transformers.html#an...
