Re: Single ended tone control question
Could there be an error in this schematic? 6ab8 has two pins going to ground 3 and 4.
They also go to a capacitor c2a. Thoughts?
Looking at another attached schematic for reference.
I am looking at updating the old multi capacitor and want to make sure I wire up correctly.
Thanks

Re: Single ended tone control question
Yep, I will keep it original, does anyone know how the tone works? Eg it’s not a capacitor to ground. Thanks again.

Single ended tone control question
Hi all, I’m restoring an old tube record player (mono) the tone control is positioned after the pentode. Does anyone know why it would be there?
I’m thinking of moving it after pre amp,
See attached schematic.
Thanks

Tc electronics t2 issues/repair
Hi all, I have a tc electronics t2 (digital reverb). It’s generating its own noise, when I change the reverb settings I can hear that it has an influence on the noise. I have audio traced the signal to the ak4556 ad da ic. The signal gets to there then seems to have the noise on pin 8. I’m wondering...

Hi all, I have an issue with the line6 m13. All effects work but the lcds are either blank or black boxes. (LCD colour backgrounds still work) It seems a pretty common issue when looking online, but there doesn’t seem to be any solutions. Has anyone had experience with this or any thoughts on what t...

Pog original power issue
Hi there, my pog when I plug in my pog to power the led flickers for a few seconds. During this time if I push the bypass switch it seems to crash. If I reconnect power a few times it starts up normally. I thought it seemed like a capacitor issue but they seem ok. Does anyone have any ideas? I’ve fo...

Re: Lester K trouble shooting
I checked the v ref which seemed ok. I then started checking all the adc related resistors and found a faulty 51ohm on the d-out pin! This was the problem. So far it seems to be working! Two analogue inputs weren’t connected to the new adc (my fault). Resoldered. Anyway thanks again, it motivated me...

Lester K trouble shooting
Hi there, I'm trying to fix my Lester k from electro harmonix. Unfortunately they don't give out schematics. The footswitches work (off/on, fast/slow rotary). But all potentiometers behave like they are on full (eg level 10) So volume is on full, drive is on full. All the potentiometers are unadjust...

mxr pitch transposer repair question
Hi there, has anyone tried repairing an mxr pitch transposer. Mine seems to be generating its own sound rather than altering the input signal. Many tantalum caps inside that I have replaced not fixed the problem. Thanks
