Re: earthquaker devices monarch [gut shot]
seems like Earhquaker changed to multilayered pcbs lately
I found a lot of seemingly non-collected pads (I marked these blue), which seem to be connected on a non-visible layer, so I guess it wont make sense to put more effort into tracing my friend's board, right?
any ideas are welcome.

Re: earthquaker devices monarch [gut shot]
IMO, as far as those pico caps go, they're probably more like 100n, 220n and 47n. I understand where you are aiming at ... I expectetd these to be bigger caps too but here's what they are reading Only film caps (all 100V), from upper left to down right: 474J, 102J, 223J, 222J, 472J, 102J, 103J, 471...

Re: earthquaker devices monarch [gut shot]
Hi, I hope there are still some people interested in this pedal. I borrowed a friend's monarch for a couple of days and tried to decipher the components ... really having problems with the resistor codes ... my red-green-colour-blindness isn't of any help there :) Hope someone can help with the unce...

Re: Vemuram Jan Ray (Traced) [traced]
Hi, has anyone the chance to take a closer at the Vemuram Rage e ? Following their argumentation that after 3 years of hard R&D they accidentally come up with something similar to the Timmy circuit I could imagine that after another three years of R&D they might invent another box of rock .....

Boss OC-2 debugging *drives me insane* [schematic]
Dear gentlemen, a couple of weeks ago I built a Boss OC-2 which since then I'm trying to bring to life, but this very project seems to be suicidal or something  :? ... it won't just work and sound proper. I'm really desperate and ask for your help. I built it after Harald Sabros great vero ...

I was afraid that you bought your ICs there but hoped for another source since the seller vanished.

Re: Catalinbread - Naga Viper [traced]
That little blue capacitor might very well be a 47pf "smoothing" cap as it can be found as optional cap in ROG's Whisker Biscuit. It reduces the amount of treble for a a more "velvet-like" sound as they (ROG) say.

Hi, what a nice pedal - finished mine last week. Sounds really awesome. Thank you phibes for sharing your vero-layout and your explanations on biasing the transistors. I had the same issues as gilmour_pugliese at first but tried several trannies with different hfe - huge diversity in results: went f...

Tim Escobedo's Psychtar on Vero
Hi there, I stumbled upon a sound sample of Tim Escobedo's Psychtar and pretty much liked it. So I tried to put the schematic into a vero layout (my first layout btw). I would be glad if some expert eyes could have a look on it and cross-check my layout. schematic: http://folkurban.com/Site/Psychtar...
