Re: Boss - Blues Driver (BD-2) [schematic]
Someone must make a BD style pcb ? any opinions ? byoc has a kit ? looking for a bare pcb to try one , tia Blues Drivers have LOTS of components. Nobody makes pcbs cause it's a lot easier (and probably cheaper) just to buy one yourself (that's why this modification thread is so popular). I mean, th...

Rewiring Fender Strat
Hey everybody! I have been considering rewiring my strat, here are some ideas I have... Replace the three knobs with push pulls to add/take out each pickup and have volume controls for each pickup (I NEVER use the tone control anyway) On board effects yo! Replace the pickups. So, I was trying to bra...

Re: Real NOS AC128 Trannies vs Some Fake NOS Ebay
I recently bought some AC128 NOS PNP transistors from Dr Tweek in the UK. They sound fantastic. There is a lot of fake and imitation transistors out here because i have been on the search for a decent pair for 3 months. Dr Tweek has made me a happy man with Fuzz on my face. Finally a supplier that ...

Re: Wallpaper finish
Thanks lolbou! I think I am going to try it and see how it turns out. I did a little research and it seams that a likely good glue would be 3M 77. It can apparently be picked up at art stores. If anybody has any experience using it, any suggestions/tips are appreciated. I will try to pick a can of i...

Wallpaper finish
Hi!
Has anyone done any wallpapering to finish their stompboxes? I was thinking of using pages from a book or magazine and was wondering if anyone has any tips they could offer.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Whizzer Modded Big Muff?
Hmm... :hmmm: Well, to give a big muff an od sound you can take out the diodes. I dunno about the clipping switch. It may put back in the diodes (?). That would give the muff back it's fuzz sound though. Perhaps it only puts some of the diodes back into the circuit (?)... I dunno. I think I read som...

Re: Epiphone Valve Junior => Supro
Greetings. I am also thinking of modding this little pretty. I'm probably going to add in a marshall tone stack right after the input. Was just wondering. Any mods to make this thing distort easier. I was thinking of using an attenuator but I don't want to spend lots on this project (though I probab...

Spraypainting
Hey! I am (trying) to finish a stompbox. I plan on spraying the whole thing one color, covering parts with masking tape, spraying with another color, repeat multiple times. I tried this today and I ran into a number of problems. 1. Sometimes when applying spray paint, puddles of paint form. 2. Somet...

Re: Spray paint procedure for BSIAB2 pedal
You have probably already painted it but in case you haven't. First: Everything should be painted white Second: Tape all over Third: paint it black Fourth: Remove tape And I believe that guitar is the same as the white black and red one. I think he was just mad that guitar companies were copying him...

Standard boss inputs for 9v power
I am (trying) to build a stompbox and want to use a boss input for power (the standard kind that are on all their 9V boxes) I am having trouble, though, finding a jack to connect it to my circuit. Where could I buy one (I have been searching small bear and it would be very helpful if I could buy one...

Honestly a very very cool looking build. Can't wait to see more pictures of your progress (and maybe hear some clips too). I don't believe I would be brave enough to take on such a task.
