Reviving. I just built one of these....I did some experimenting and I have a question.
If I connect lug 1 of sustain to R6 it really brightens up and changes the sound. Any idea what this is doing? Thanks

Music from Space
Hey All,
I searched and did not see anything on this device.
Sub-commander guitar Synth
http://www.musicfromouterspace.com --> Synth DIY tab --> Guitar Projects
100% Complete project. You can also go to catalog and buy a PCB...Word.
Look a little complex for me though.

Re: Pedal Costs
Great info...thanks guys.
I've started a spreadsheet and will look at other suppliers. I think 30-40 for a Silicon fuzz face seems very reasonable if I can get it that low.
I've used Tayda in the past and totally forgot about them
again, thanks for the responses!

Re: Pedal Costs
Yes, cost of the pedal parts. Time, labor, etc are not figured in. We'd like to do a one time run of 15-20 pedals...and sell them at a very reasonable price (recouping pedal parts cost would be nice). A standard fuzz face for 50-60 seems like a hard sell. I'm not looking to start a pedal company or ...

Pedal Costs
Hi, I've done a quick analysis on the cost of a few common DIY pedals. Specifically a complete Fuzz Face. This includes a complete build, graphics, and shipping of the parts. I've come up with about $50 total. Depending on the what you use for a board this could vary....i included $10, which should ...

Beavis Loop and Ohnoho?
Hey all,
If i take this.
http://www.beavisaudio.com/techpages/Pe ... ckLoop.gif
remove the SPDT, and change the 3PDT to a momentary, do I have a Chk chk Boom?
What makes some feedback loopers fade out instead of cut off when the switch is released?
Thanks in advance!

Mouser tools
Maybe this is old news. But mouser now has a bill of material import tool and the ability to share projects. This is brilliant and something I have been waiting for. Madbeans and tonepad could start providing links or CSVs with the parts needed for each project. Folks in the forums could easily link...

Re: Fuzzhugger - Algal Bloom [gut shot] [traced]
It looks like the same PCB as the Groundsweel Overdrive, which is two Electras in series, minus the clipping diodes, and with the addition of sag. So it could be an Electra + a Bazz, or something like that. I just breadboarded this exact config before reading this thread. (leaving keyboard to start...

Caroline - Wave Cannon [traced]
GMD has something called the Wave cannon on the board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ul1tEnnQX2k I like the look of it. Very retro 50's style graphics. My total non-expert look at it, feels like a Fuzz factory style arrangement. 4 knobs with much oscillation. Check it out and report back....I"...

Re: Zvex - Fuzz Factory [traced]
I've got a FF breadboarded and looking to build it into a terminal strip pedal. Expression pedal is my question. If got some plans for one, but I'm still trying to figure out how the knobs really interact. They are very flexible, dynamic and (insert buzz word here) but based on your experience and o...

Re: AIMS BLOWN
I'll try and get some pics up soon. But this is what one of the guys said. Looks like the tubes lost their negative grid voltage, aka bias voltage and they cherry plated. Tubes under that much stress short out and draw too much current and blow fuses. Your fuse was really not a fuse, so the next wea...

AIMS BLOWN
HI all, I have an AIMS VTG 105 half combo. Years ago i was playing it and saw an orange glow on the wall behind it. I shut the amp off and smoke started flowing out of the back. I slid the head out and discovered someone had put tin foil over the fuse  I can't seem to find a schem for this. Sho...

two kits, which one?
Hi All, I have a couple of builds under by belt and have decided I'll never be designing my own circuits and such. It's kits and pre-made boards for life! I happened upon this site with a Fuzz Factory board, and link to a component kit at caps n such. http://www.guitarpcb.com/apps/webstore/products/...
