DT how about you just send the pedal to a mod or other reputable member so they can inspect and verify what you have. seems simple.

Earlier in this thread there were some speculation whether the original carried 2N3819s, but it doesn't look that way from the results I got. one ...

most jfets won't just pop in there without either selecting the jfet to suit the drain resistor or selecting the drain resistor to suit the jfet. maybe just sub in some 20k trimmers for the drain resistors and try a variety of different jfets; all biased properly?

I'm building a board that requires 27k resistors. I have 1% 26.7k resistors and 5% 27k resistors. Which would work better?
