Re: Marshall - JMP-1: footswitch schematic?

Thanks very muck Karul, I didn't even know such an upload was possible. One seller en Reverb builds one, which contains a small PCB, with 2 IC's, a few resistors and capacitors. Il found a schematic for a 6100 pedalboard (3 button). patafix, keep in mind for the next time, links for the schematic li...

Re: Marshall - JMP-1: footswitch schematic?

Caution necro bumb ! I Just bought a JMP1, and plan to build a 4 button pedalboard for it. One seller en Reverb builds one, which contains a small PCB, with 2 IC's, a few resistors and capacitors. Il found a schematic for a 6100 pedalboard (3 button). http://home.myfairpoint.net/vze1u14s/sitebuilder...

Could it be some kind of Voodoo Lab OD, which essentially is a DOD250 + additionnal gain stage.Image

Re: Seymour Duncan - Pickup Booster [schematic]

Since the topology of its circuit is basically a discrete opamp, has someone tried to build it using an IC ???

Re: Building A 4558 opamp from scratch.

If I were you, I'd build a very simple disrete opamp for audio applications.

I made two of them, including the diode opamp (https://www.diystompboxes.com/analogalc ... opamp.html)which sounds quite good for distortion applications.

Re: Poly-Drive X by RMC -schematic [schematic]

They made a revision in 2011. I ordered one. I can offer shots since I haven't installed it in my guitar yet.

There are a couple of mods from what I see, the most noticeable is the presence of two additional transistors and the swap of a tone cap from 33n to 47n...

Re: Trouble with the blend circuit of a bass fuzz I'm workin

One thing to have in mind is that Fuzz Face type circuits (which the Wooly Mammoth essentially is) don't like buffered signals. unfortunately your splitter/blender circuit needs the signal to be buffered. I would suggest you to put a 10k trimpot between C5 and C6 so that it forms a LPF to remove som...

Changing the resistor between (-) input and the cap tied to ground or Vbias for a one with a higher value can also do the trick : increase in bass response & lower gain...

Re: Way Huge - Swollen Pickle

Wow - It's quite tempting to build one of these with all seven pots on the outside to create some kind of uber-Muff... how many pots does the Way Huge have? I don't see any trimmers. it looks like he scaled back the bias resistors(/10)- less noise, more current draw, lower input impedance. I like t...

Re: GFS Bluesdrive Classic Overdrive

I'm not sure it's a "pure" RAT clone :

- Only one set Resistor / Capacitor, from NFB of the opamp to ground.
- No output buffer.

My guess is just an single opamp stage with LEDS to ground...

Re: Jetter - Gain Stage Black [traced]

Pretty close to any "single opamp dirt pedal"... even a dist+. The main difference is the fact that the signal is not clipped by any diode... The dirt comes from the opamp itself. It must have a huge output level !
