Re: Boss BF2 mods

Does anyone know of an effective way to reduce the overall volume of the circuit? I tried making the 100k output resistor variable - which works - but it affects the bypass volume as well. From the OP post, the R29 pot addition won't fix the volume boost. I like the way the flanger is currently mixe...

Re: Boss Hyper Fuzz (FZ-2)

Has anyone isolated the boost mode in a schematic?

I'd really like to build just the boost as that is my favorite mode.

Anyone have any LDR, photocell or LDR combos to try out or work best?

does this work for the DD-5? I've been trying to find info as to how Analog Man does it but with no luck.

reading SMD capacitors in a circuit - testing value

I'm getting ready to attempt a trace of a Red Witch Pentavocal tremolo. Its all SMD components. The resistors have the numbers so I'm able to get their values from their codes - I also tested them and got readings close, if not on to their written specs, but the capacitors have no values written on ...

bump, did the owner get a chance to remove the PCB completely and attempt a trace?

I've used the Tap LFO before - very cool. Could I use the LED/LDR combo to alter the resistance like an expression pedal? Needs to be able to work with a TRS jack.

Copilot FX - Broadcast Expression LFO

Anyone have any info on this/ a workalike? Or anything else that is a LFO expression device?

Re: Mid-Fi Electronics - Pitch Pirate - Guts, Schematic [traced]

I've built a few vibratos using the PP circuit minus the LFO. I'm really not a fan of the LM386 as it has a low headroom and clips easy/doesn't sound that good to me. Any suggestions on an IC (or transistor) to replace it with to go into the PT2399? I know it would require rewiring the input, or wha...

gibsonvedran wrote:beedola, do you not notice a slight increase in volume with depth at max with mm schematic?
I honestly have never tried the reverb of the Wampler but would not buy it if it works that way...
In my opinion treble control is ok but the depth control isn't ok...
I do notice that with the Depth, yes.

Re: Wampler Faux Spring Reverb

mmolterax schematic is equal to your schematic Beedoola... And brian said that your schematic was not correct... "You are close, but still not there." MM's is a little different than mine. You're correct about what Brian regarding my attempt, as he said everything in the schematic the OP posted was...

Re: Maestro PS-1A not working

weird occurrence. When the Slow Phase is in the OFF position, the LFO works and you can hear it but the effect is more like a term, slightly gain, not phase. With the Slow in the OFF position, and the other two in their respective ON positions, you hear the LFO vary. When the Slow switch is moved to...

voltages are good. LFO works - I can hear it ticking and changing when engaging the different controls. Just no Phase.

is there a reason you can't edit posts on this forum????

The Dry signal works. The trimpot for the output works. When I engage the controls, I get nothing, no phase.

Re: Maestro PS-1A not working

Definitely looks suspect.... You mentioned that the phase was intermittent when you would touch one of the trimmers. Was it the trimmer next to the suspect op amp? If so, you might be on to something.... :secret: Bad solder joints or oxidation.... I changed the trim pots, an electro cap, and a resi...
