If that's the case, they "worked on" most of the components, haha.

Yes, the couple of older ones I saw around 2007 or so were AC128.

The schematic on page 1 of this thread is correct. Check that to verify.orangetones wrote: ↑23 Jan 2021, 23:35 That 2n2 between Q1 and Q2 should be 4n7. I have traced this and it seems correct. Anyone want to verify?

My personal favorite for the Clusterfuzz is LEDs.orangetones wrote: ↑23 Jan 2021, 19:48 I moved a few things around and am limiting the clipping options to LED, and 4148 and the diode lift.

Hmm, it shouldn't have only a subtle effect. It's actually rather pronounced on the production units.orangetones wrote: ↑23 Jan 2021, 14:50 I also find the tone pot to be somewhat subtle in its effect.

Yes, indeed. I "appropriated" it directly from the ProCo Rat. Specific details here: https://www.electrosmash.com/proco-rat

Re: Function f(x) Clusterfuzz [traced]
To get a little more treble response from this pedal, would I just change the input capacitor? output cap? What capacitor in the tone area would I play around with to change the effect of the tone control? Any advice? Reduce the value of the smaller Filter switch cap (4n7) to something like 1n...or ...

Re: Function f(x) Clusterfuzz [traced]
In the demos I have seen of this pedal there doesn't usually seem to be a huge volume drop when they switch to the 2 Si options. Any thoughts on what the cause is here? Either they adjusted the volume in editing, or they have some kind of automatic level control going on. There is a MASSIVE volume ...

I'm not a huge fan of board-mounted footswitches for production pedals, but otherwise this one looks like a pretty tight build.

Re: Triton Delay - Adding the "Glide" from EchoCzar to PT2399 [documentation]
Yep. Basically it just uses the R/C filter as a "bleed off" of current from pin 6. The time it takes to switch from one to the other is a function of the frequency of the R/C filter.

Re: Function f(x) - Gate Crasher
Ah, I figured R1 could be the pulldown, because the signal has to come from the relay to go to the 4049. C1 might also go to gnd at the input. Correct on both. What you have drawn is almost exactly right. The few variances won't make a difference in functionality, but might change tone slightly ...
