Re: A Switching Scheme [documentation]
I had a run of switching PCBs made, and spent several evenings soldering the parts into them. I made (as I recall) about 220 of the boards. I know that I've got more of the PCBs - somewhere - but they've been buried amongst a lot of other, more deserving projects when I moved house! If you did happ...

Here's a drop in PCB that uses a momentary switch. Haven't yet built it, but all looks good. 1.1375" x 1.0500". [ Image ] .brd - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8021347/Relay.brd .sch - http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8021347/Relay.sch I don't suppose anyone happens to have these files? The dropbox links...

Just a modified COT50 with a footswitch to select between different components coming off the emitter. Here's the schematic: [ Image ] Perf/PCB layout: [ Image ] And a vero layout for kicks: [ Image ] Image links are broken - I don't suppose anyone has them and can upload elsewhere? Many thank! R.

Re: 1:1 transformer (for audio isolation)
I've successfully used the Xicon 42TM018-RC transformer, which is 1:1 with 10k impedance on both sides. Data sheet: http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/449/XC-600134-1212477.pdf I got mine for less than 4 bucks each at Mouser. The data sheet says the 3dB frequency response is 300Hz to 3.4kHz, but don't be a...

Crikey, they're not cheap.
I was considering making a homemade Radial IC-1 ( http://www.radialeng.com/icecube.php ) but it's not worth it at that price.

Any idea where to buy the LTHZ?roseblood11 wrote:Good transformers for high impedance signals aren't cheap. I used the Lehle LTHZ in some pedals, it's the same that is used in the Lehle P-Split II isolation box. The P-Split is always in my guitar case, every guitarist should have one...

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
Hi Steve, is your power supply a simple transformer transforming the standard house volage from 220VAC to 16VAC (non regulated obviously - it is only transformer). I have one so I am looking to use it simple connecting cables and printing 3d case for it instead of buying one. They are not that chea...

Mains switching for Vibratone (or other purposes)
I've built a Fender Vibratone clone using a Leslie mechanism from an old Farfisa organ and I wanted to be able to switch it remotely using a footswitch. I came up with this circuit: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7fTyn3B9gCk/VdEMe9FQoQI/AAAAAAAAIMw/P8ucVAb2cy0/w940-h358-no/Vibratone%2BSwitching....

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
Today, I found myself idly debating whether or not to buy a BK Butler Tube Driver. I was googling around for schematics to see which model the Tube Driver was when I found Baja's schematics for bith the Tube Driver and the BRTD. I hadn't actually realised how similar they were. So, I rummaged around...

push-push switch for Yamaha SG
Hi all, Does anyone know of a source for a replacement switch like this: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-DEMq9Ql-tCk/U241oZ1Mu1I/AAAAAAAACzY/b3R8J_C-2VU/w518-h691-no/20140510_151633.jpg It's from a Yamaha SG3000S tone pot and is used for coil-tapping. Re: Want 100K lin expression pedal (or cheap wah shell)
This is the part: http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/100k-andohm-miniature-linear-single-gang-potentiometer-jm74r It is a perfect fit - exactly the same as the stock part except it has pcb-mount pins instead of solder tags, and the stock part has a slot in the end of the shaft. It works fine as an expression...

Re: Want 100K lin expression pedal (or cheap wah shell)
So, I think I'm going to end up with multiple solutions for this. I've got a few Chinese Vox Wah shells coming from prehistoric (they're aluminium, apparently, and therefore lighter than the usualk zinc shells) together with a HotPots II 100K pot. I've also picked up a 100K linear pot that I hope wi...

Mich: I think they might be a little too big to fit in the EV-5. apollomusicservice: Thanks for the detailed info, but I actually want to change the pot to a 100K linear pot to use as an expression pedal with an early DryBell Vibe Machine. The good news is that, thanks to Lucifer, I picked up someth...

Alpha 16mm B100k with longish metal shaft
Hi, The pot in the picture is from a Roland EV-5 Expression pedal and is B10k. I want to replace it with a B100K value. Does anyone one know where I might get hold of one? My google-fu has failed me. Thanks, R. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Ul3XDESavUI/U2K0iUMxgyI/AAAAAAAACsk/p1tqHZOm6cw/w1141-...

Re: Want 100K lin expression pedal (or cheap wah shell)
I've just picked up a non-working Crybaby. Jeez, it's heavy.
I really need something lightweight as I'm going to have at least two of these on my board - one for my wah, and at least one expression pedal.
Can anyone recommend a lightweight pedal/shell?
R.

I need a 100k lin expression pedal for my early edition DryBell V-1 Vibe Machine.
Anyone got or know a source of inexpensive expression pedal or wah shells in the UK?

Boss knobs
Hi, Does anyone know where I can source a few replacement knobs for Boss pedals? I'm looking for a Level knob for an MZ-2 [1] and a complete set for a BD-2 [2] I'm in the UK so I guess a UK source would be most convenient. Thanks, R.
