Re: Marshall Lead 100 MOSFET (3210)
I recently bought one broke off craiglist for $60. Turned on but no sound. Turned out to be a bad Ic in the preamp. TL082. Replaced that and repaired a broken wire to the reverb tank. Overall not bad sounding, still prefered my AVt50 over it. The one thing I noticed for me was the bleed thru from on...

AVT150 EQ help
Amp is a Marshall AVT150. Here's the schematic for the EQ section of OD1 and OD2. Problem is when OD1 sounds good OD2 sounds muddy. Where would be a good place to start to clear up OD2? If Picture is too small I can resize and repost. Thanks https://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k288/fixr1984/Schematic...

Re: Has anyone bought the Washburn Pedals on Ebay?
I bought both from Target about 6 months ago. They were $10 each. I didnt mess with them too much
but they sound ok. Metal box DPDT switch even has a battery door on the bottom so you could always gut them
out and put something else in them.

Re: Analogman - King of Tone [traced]
The original KOT was one of these circuits. Over time the KOT developed until in it's present form it has 2 of these in 1 box. They can be used individually or in series, but you don't need 2 to get the KOT sound. The switches are there to affect which diodes do the clipping and whther they clip to...

Re: Analogman - King of Tone [traced]
Finaly got around to building this, I used madbean's layout. I have to play around with it some more but so far I'm not too impressed with it. Yet. Couple quick questions, first what are the 2 switches actually for? It sounds like it just cuts some of the highs. Secondly, the original KOT was two id...

Re: Marshall AVT help
Thanks for that tip. I setteled on a 22uf. At least for now, I might change it later on but that seems to give it a pretty good boost. I replaced the channel footswitch jack in the back for a stereo jack an have a 2 button footswitch so the gain boost is switchable. The gain boost actually cleans th...

Marshall AVT help
I have a Marshall AVT 50 head, and over at the Marshall Forum a fellow claims to have figured out some mods to fix a few of the complaints with the amp. He has since not been around to answer questions. Here is what he says about it. "I came up with some great modifications for my AVT50 amp: 1....

Re: Boss TR2
I fixed it on mine. I changed out R9 with a 4k7. I actually get a slight
volume increase now. When you play by yourself you can notice it but in
a live setting the increase it not even noticable.
Others have just put a 10k trimmer in place of R9 and just adjust it to get unity volume.

Isn't MarkM's OVD layout actually the OCD?
If it is I believe it is verified.

SPST momentary
I'm trying to find a SPST momentary switch. It looks just like the DPDT
x-wing switch but with 3 pins. Can be pcb mount or solder terminals, i can deal with either one.
Thanks

While that is connected no other connections will have any effect. Short pin 2 and channel 2 is on untill you ...

I was afraid that would be the answer. Too pricy by the time I buy one and replace the switches. I even read that the cable is crappy too. If I cant DIY I think I will stick to the same method Ive been using, clean channel and pedals. You can check if they're latched or unlatched by shorting each p...
