I like the big coupling caps. Output cap could be 10u to really put out low lows.

Info for mods to the FET od section and adding a resonance control where the "peak" switch is so you can push the filter further and into oscillation!

Mod your MOOG MiniFooger Drive for resonance control!

For resonance control: -Void your warranty. Deconstruct your 'fooger and take care when bending the ribbon wires... they may (read: probably will) break. Have ready about 20 wires cut at 1.5 inches, stripped and tinned. This way you can quickly replace the ribbon cable if need be and not be heartbro...

Re: The Tight Squeeze

Ok report from amp mod: Used with an inverting op amp stage and bipolar supply... positive swing diodes/caps wired to v+, negative swing to v-, and 22k resistors going to opposite diode pairs in "charging caps" to the "attenuator/compression/limiting diodes" to account for signal...

Re: The Tight Squeeze

To use with an inverting op amp, could you simply cross the two 22k resistors in the diode attenuator circuit?

Trying it on perf now, hoping to add it as a mod to an solid state practice amp with inverting op amp gain stages.

Re: NOC3 Effects- GnarWall Fuzz and parallel loop mixer [documentation]

I just moved 200 miles to Asheville so this is on the back burner at the moment. The PCB design is done, I just have no money right now to get it fabbed.

Re: NOC3 Effects Firefly

I getting a lot of requests for wiring diagrams. y'all really can't read schematics? Also Use BS170 s for the mosfets. For the wiring, viewing the silk screen side of the board: Ground is on the left side of the board(connected to ground plane) In is on the left between the ground pad and LED LED wi...

Re: NOC3 Ether Overdrive

yeah r3 and r6. :slap: I went with 5 k on Q1 and 3k on Q2 for a more overdriven sound, for distortion you can approach 10 k... keep in mind you have to bias each mosfet where you want it... I like mine a little over 5 volts with a 9 volt supply. With big source bypass caps this thing gets fuzzy. sma...

yeah, two circuits per board. You just have to score and snap them appart, 4.50 per circuit board...

4.50 + 4.50 = 9 with free shipping, c'mon dude. :slap:

Schematics. The BJT and MOSFET boost share the same PCB while the PCB for the JFET has the trimmer.

I'll dig up my notes...

I remember just disconnecting the gyrator tone circuit

If I went at it again I'd maybe try to up the voltages in the discrete fet op-amp... And add a resistor and cap in series with the diodes to ground.
