Shouldn't be too hard. The trimmer has just a portion of the sweep where the modulation becomes audible.

The stereo reissue has a MN3008 and a MN3009 in it.

Yeah, I have used one of the Small Bear ones as to fix a RI Stereo Poly. Its a drop in replacement on that one.

I had volume drop as well when I built mine. I tried putting a buffer in front and that solved it.

You'd have to test it in a circuit I guess. I tried replacing a MN3005 with a MN3008 once just to see what would happen. Are they temporary slots that you're just dropping a pot into for each mockup, or are you leaving the pots on the test board permanently? Hi Paul,

It's all SMD with the exception of the transistors (Fairchild BC550B's in my case), electros, and a polarity protection diode.

For reference, the PCB on my LBM is labelled EC-D2rE.

Yep, I built mine like that using a enclosure turned over on its side. I also like using alligator clips instead of the terminal strip.
