It was more fun back in the 80s, because you either paid a subscription and waited for each monthly issue - of course post was delivered by 8am in those days so I could wait for the postman before going to work, or visited the local newsagent in the hope that the new issue had arrived!

I agree, but that phaser/vibrator was very noisy indeed.Dirk_Hendrik wrote: ↑12 Aug 2023, 12:30 Not only that phaser vibrato article but the whole magazine is quite a good read! Amazing what a good magazine Elektor used to be in the 2nd half of the seventies and the eighties compared to the dullness it is today.

I play at home mostly but I play in a Band. So maybe 30watts Don't forget that 30watts will not sound twice as loud as 15 watts, so for more headroom go for 60watts. Oh and loudspeaker efficiency also comes into the equation. I can remember a big argument with the other guys in my band back in the ...

Remember also that the editorial staff of both ETI and Hobby Electronics were apt to change guitar pedal circuits from those offered, which were working well, into something they wanted to see, cutting pay for original article authors. Maybe we should move this discussion to a separate caveat threa...
