Mullard Tropical Fish Color Chart

Here is a chart I drew for tropical fish caps, because I couldn't find one anywhere. Feel free to use it however you like, just don't modify it, please... hope it helps.

Re: Tone circuit pots log or lin?

As IvIark said, tone pots are normally linear (B). Common tone values that are good to have on hand are 10K, 50K, & 100K.

Re: Where can I find a blue circuit board?

Yes, after etch. What I do is this: I heat up my etched board in a toaster oven, low to med temp for 4-5 mins. Like I said earlier, this works best with FR4, the CEM can't take the heat for long enough to actually work with this technique. Anyway, I have a copper T that I bought at Lowes, and I hold...

Re: Where can I find a blue circuit board?

abcfab on Ebay has the blue CEM. I've never noticed any blue FR4, but he has the CEM in blue. The main difference is the temperature range... unlike FR4, the CEM will bubble up and scorch if you put it in a toaster oven to warm up the board prior to tinning, so keep the CEM away from too much heat. ...

Re: etching without chemicals

Im a big fan of the muriatic/peroxide solution. 2 parts H202 to 1 part HCl(Muriatic). Cheers for the recipe. What about the concentration of H2O2 and HCl (I guess it might change things...) Check out this instructables link - it lays it all out nicely: http://www.instructables.com/id/Stop-using-Fer...
