Wiring two Circuits in Series in one Enclosure
Hello, I wanted to build two independently switchable circuits into one enclosure. In other words a "Stage A" with a footswitch to turn it on/off... going into a "Stage B" with a footswitch to turn it on/off. My guess with the wiring would be to wire like this... In > Stage A 'in...

Re: Help in identifying a diode.
Well, I had thought that the diode had been misplaced, but I just found it. It's a BAT46 schottky diode. Anything special about this diode (higher forward voltage, different clipping tonality, etc)? Or is it just another schottky?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Help in identifying a diode.
Hello everybody, I can't find a picture, but of course I can offer a vague and probably useless description, haha. Anyways, I bought a kit from a site that will remain nameless (just as a precaution) and they included a diode for reverse polarity protection. This diode they included was very small (...

Hooray! Thank you so much! I'm just about to do the wiring, so I'll test this out. Thanks again!

Re: Help with wiring a diode to a dpdt switch...
Hmmm, maybe I'm just lacking in knowledge (which is usually the case here), but the only way I understood to do a basic parts switch with a dpdt was something like this... Part A >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> * * < Part A Original spot on board #1 >>> * * <Original spot on board #2 Part B >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> * * < Pa...

Help with wiring a diode to a dpdt switch...
Hello everybody, I'm working on another diy project, and I wanted to use a dpdt footswitch (on-on) to switch between two different resistor values. This is not the problem. The problem is that I want to wire an LED indicator to the one side so when I switch from 'normal' to 'other' I can indicate thi...

Re: How to Wire a Variable Capacitor?
I wired mine up differently, but like I said, happy accident... Thanks for the information!

How to Wire a Variable Capacitor?
Hello, everybody. I decided to put up a post on this because a search of the inter-web didn't really bring notable results... On my first pedal build, I stumbled on a lucky/happy accident. I was building an NPN Fuzz Face and wired the 2.2uf cap as a variable capacitor and voila! It worked great as a...

Jordan Bosstone Build weird problem
Hello everyone! This is my first post on the forum, but definitely won't be my last! I started building my own effects about 6 months ago and have completed a number of projects (although I'm still a noob as I am learning something new every day). Anyways, I built a Jordan Bosstone, great sound out ...
