I'm cool with it. here is the modified version I am building as an experiment http://www.eatyourguitar.com/DRIVINGNOTIONMOD.gif you can build it on perf. the layout is on DIYstompboxes. not my perf layout so I don't know if it has been verified. if you want...

Re: Catalinbread - Pareidolia Harmonic Mesmerizer [traced]
if the jfet is damaged from electrostatic discharge then it will be somewhere between working and not working. everyone needs to use proper storage and handling procedures when working with jfets. you should only buy them from sellers that have stored and handled them properly. do you even know if t...

I don't think anythin...

Re: Catalinbread Pareidolia Harmonic Mesmerizer [traced]
check for a dead FET. I noticed this can happen a lot from handling. I built it and it was fine but I did need to mess with a mod to get more depth.

Re: splitter blend check for errors
I already have the stripboard layout made on the computer but it was very easy to move R30. I fixed it per your suggestion. now I have R30 connected directly to the output of IC1B. I don't understand why you think I need diodes and a resistor on the return if it is AC coupled by a 63v box cap. can y...

splitter blend check for errors
I modified some schematics I found online that did not fit my needs. I wanted something with no FET's, one TL074, phase 180 switch. I was hoping someone could look at it and make suggestions.

Re: Electro Harmonix Holy Stain [GUT SHOTS] [schematic]
That dangling pot must be a mod, right? It's straight pin rather than right angle. Not so much a mod as a repair, when the pedal arrived I lifted the knobs from the pots for dissasembly but the knobs are amazingly tight fit to the shaft, the shaft actually came out with the knob on that pot and kil...

Re: Important: boutique sections closed... DMCA kicks in.
Modman, can you name the other complainers besides LK? I think this should all be public information. I think the other boutique builders that followed LK are in fact just puppets of LK that think they are doing things in a professional legal way. they are wrong but I dont think that we should atta...

my buckethead arcade style killswitch schematic
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3511/5815418208_525b0d0d23.jpg I haven't tested it but it should work. I just combined the momentary on and momentary off schematics into one super slick arcade button to rule them all. when in momentary on mode, you basically have a latching killswitch so you can mut...

Re: escobedo's uglyface video demo
I saw the video and I think I need to build one of these into a wah enclosure with the threshold knob on the expression pedal. that would make the noisy side of this pedal totally usable in a band.

my AorB AandB switch schematic with led's
I couldn't find this on the internet with the LED's. I know morley makes it so I knew it was possible. figuring out the wiring took me a while so I figured I'd post it and save someone the frustration. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3047/5737372908_93f723369c.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3116/...
