Boy the search function works ;) https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=395&p=33963&hilit=diode+diodes#p33963 Thanks for the clarification :) I'm populating the Sag Charger now and was confused at the + sign on the diodes. I noticed a few others on this thread were having p...

Re: EMM-Shaper

It looks like an Envelope Generator that shapes the instrument's envelope characteristics to be whatever is determined by the controls. At least, I hope that's what it does, because that would be really cool. I think TR1 is being used as a clipping diode... maybe? :hmmm: That's what it looks ...

Great unit btw!

Right. The best option is to use a non carbon wirewound 100 ohms between A and B,
so there will be no noise when the slider of R4 is turned up all the way to the last .1% of Rd

Re: Re:

What's a dummy coil? I came across the varitone in a previous guitar rewiring life -- and abandoned it because I couldn't find an appriopriate inductor coil. Here the schematic dictates a 7.2H (!) coil. Not so easy to come by, or is it? edit: I repeated myself, check this thread on the inductor coi...
