I'm the person who normally doesn't post unless I have something useful to post. I say normally because as you can see, this thread isn't useful to anyone here haha!

Re: Pedal Projects needs your help!
Oh and the reson I hadn't been back here in a while was that I forgot to set so that I'd be notified when people responded to this and I forgot to check.

Re: Pedal Projects needs your help!
Hey guys, sorry for not commenting back here but I've been busy. I was sceptical about posting this here and if you read through the comments, you'll know why. I'm not very good with words, never have been. I guess my point doesn't come across too well or it sounds better in my head before trying to...

Pedal Projects needs your help!

I hope that people consider this something worthy of checking out and possibly helping too. I'll do a quick introduction: My name is Ásgeir, I'm...

Lotus Pedals THD+N (Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise)
Here's another Lotus pedal and this one excites me a lot more than the Snowjob. Here's a drawing of the PCB: https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/v/t34/1521464_10202358540112114_1310517576_n.jpg?oh=b5588142a43098ca6fead80f5ada388c&oe=52DC7820&__gda__=1390187894_79d6f950ccf1...

Re: Lotus Pedals Snowjob (underdrive)
Yeah it's just hard to see the traces on a white PCB, especially when it's underneath the components.

Re: Lotus Pedals Snowjob (underdrive)
I just spotted that the clippers are wired to the output, not before the output cap.

Lotus Pedals Snowjob (underdrive)
So I got this pedal recently and I'm wondering about the circuit. Lotus Pedals says it's an under drive as opposed to an overdrive. I've drawn up the PCB as it is laid out and it's single layer. There are a few things I'm not sure about so I need your help with this. Here's what I drew up: https://f...

Re: Emerson Custom Guitars E-M Drive. [traced]
I had a look inside my EM-Drive and there's A LOT more glue than in the original photo at the beginning of this thread. Also the transistor was covered with black nail polish.
It's an MPSA18. I couldn't take a photo because my iPhone can't get the text to show. But yes, it's an MPSA18. There you go!

I'll have a look later today. I popped it open once before and it's covered with glue. It's clear glue though. I'll see if I can make it out.rugeb wrote:In the original unit: what transistor is used?geiristudio wrote:I've got the original unit......

Re: Emerson Custom Guitars E-M Drive. [traced]
I've got the original unit. Mitch at Emerson let me have one for almost nothing I bought 400x stereo jacks from him + White EM drive with shipping to Iceland for $550. The pedal is blemished according to him but it's not even visible hah! Anyways, I would only classify this as a booster, not a drive...

Re: Boss rehouse switch bounce problem
Literally all I've done is replace the stock Boss switch with one of these: http://www.bitcheslovemyswitches.com/#! ... d=10220659
That's it. Well, I put it in a new enclosure but the wiring is the same.

Boss rehouse switch bounce problem
So I rehoused a DD-3 for the guitarist of Stray From The Path which he intends on using ONLY for a special part in their song called "Mad Girl". It's this cool stuttering effect where he's basically using a quick delay with the repeats maxed out. He wanted all the knobs hidden inside so th...

Re: Throne Room Pedals - The Coming Messiah v2 guts
Thanks guys! So the picture that shows the back seems to cover almost everything I think, right? There's just a few lines on the top layer that need verification? I'll see if I can do something later today.
I was afraid it was a TS variant but damn it sounds really really good, I must admit!

Throne Room Pedals - The Coming Messiah v2 guts
Here's the Throne Room Pedals - The Coming Messiah v2, which is now called The Atlantis (might have a slightly modified circuit). I really need this traced. I hope those pictures are enough. The screw in one of the knobs broke and I cannot unscrew it again so I won't be able to get to the back of th...
