Re: Beavis Board
I was inspired by a couple of pics on Paul Marossy's site showing the connections to pots pre-wired to the board. It worked out well for me to just run those into a terminal strip and then just make a number of short stranded wires with a clip on one side and spade connector for the terminal on the ...

Re: How to print white (colored) text on dark painted pedals?
These guys have a relatively low cost system for producing decals with white text or background. A couple of people I know in the design field use it and report good results. I've been using their toner transfer paper for pcbs with decent results.

Re: Group Order of Way Huge Aqua Puss PCBs
My boards arrived yesterday, and man, they are spectacular! I'd like to thank abfackeln for going out of his way to make this excellent project happen, and for placing another order for those of us that missed it first time around. Really, really looking forward to this project. Heh, especially now ...

I was inspired also by the Beavis Board and decided to build something based on that idea. Man, wish I would have built one of these when I first got started.

Hmm, the 2n5089 probably wouldn't be one I'd be looking at for a FF. Have a look over at Small Bear for a great FAQ on FFs.

Re: etching without chemicals
I've used ExpressPCB before. They are very high quality boards; but I do not like their layout program. Since I've started using Eagle, I don't want to use anything else. I've asked this before, but I'm going to ask again; has anyone tried Futurlec for boards? They say that they accept Eagle .brd f...

Re: RnFR- MasterBlaster
Whoa....hold the phone....I just looked up some info on the Peak analyzer. Am I understanding this correctly, the Peak DCA255 will identify npn\pnp, measure gain AND leakage? Yikes, that imho would be $70 well spent! Would that be the one you'd recommend? RnFR, did you buy it direct or get it here i...

Re: RnFR- MasterBlaster
Thanks man, I appreciate the info! Over the next couple of weeks I'll be breadboarding these circuits with a selection of the Russian GEs. I'll keep you posted as to how it goes. Gonna take me a while to sort through it all I'm sure.....still a noob with a lot of this stuff. First order of business ...

Re: RnFR- MasterBlaster
Heya RnFR,
Thx for posting an update to this. I have some of the Russian GE's on the way, and I'm really looking forward to playing around with this and the "Dirty Boots" Cool stuff!
May I ask specifically what transistor(s) you're using here?
Thx man!

Re: Hermida Audio - Zendrive [ goop-alarm ] [traced]
I'd like to give a tip of the hat and a big thanks to Madbean for the great layout. This has been a milestone for me..... I etched the board, souped up my own concoction of "mojo" parts (yea, I know there's not a great sonic difference, but, em, I just like em! 8) ), painted up the box, pu...
