Wow!!!
Nice proyect!!
I'd put a 1K resistor (grid stopper) in grid1 of the pentode section, soldered just in the socket, to avoid noises.

Re: Sola Sound - Tonebender Mark II Professional [schematic]
Put it first in the chain, just after the guitar. The cause of the problem are the buffers cointained in the tuner, wah and the wahmmy.

Re: Vagabond - a 2x12AX7, 2x50C5 blast from Winnipeg's past
I think, the best U can do is replace the 50C5 and isolate correctly the circuit, with an power transformer and a few diodes... It's not that difficult... Just look for the correct grounding. And the re-cap: I'd just cahnge the electros

50L6, 7695, UL41, UL84, and the list continues... U just have to look for th nuber "50" or the letter "U" in the front of the name of the tubes .

I suggest to turn the effect on and just put the diode leads over th four ones in parallel and just use the ears. It's not rocket science...

Re: Silverface Princeton Reverb being a cock.
That 3M3 resistor is the grid stopper resistor. And the noise, I guess it's just an oscilation.
I suggest to take a look at this read: http://www.valvewizard.co.uk/gridstopper.html
And move all the grid stoppers to the tubes sockets .
Best regards!!

Re: Tube Treble Booster
... Is this even a Booster? I think its more of a pre amp. I have only used it on tube amps so i can't say what it would do on a solid state rig. Just a tought: it's a perfect candidate for DC70 or any subminiature tube, powered by nixie supply  . It could become into a regular sized pedal ea...

U can try it with 6AV6, 6C4, etc... Singles hi-mu triodes .
Or a pentode, as EF86, EF144, etc... in triode mode; a thing that I've never seen is a triode in pentode mode, reaaally nice idea

Hi, sinner!! I've just seen this  Look, I'm not a really supporter of 2, 3, 4... channels in a tube amp; 'cause it means more tubes ($$, time to assembly, heaters and workin' current and high voltages, debuggin', and a lot of etc...). With those 2 power, a phase splitter and 2 preamp tubes,...

Yes, there's a noise on tremolo mode. I gues it's 'cause the whires are too long... well, I had no choice with that: it was made for a friend of mine, and he wanted it in a little box
I hadn't problems with volume drop That's a fet problem, I guess...

Re: GTFO - A true valve high-gain overdrive
an inductor 5A is too much? I think thath kind of inductor is something DIY-able, 2mm copper an 30-40 turns arround a ferrite bar... Anyway, U can measure it, try again if it goes wrong, etc... What U say, fellows...? BTW: Is there someone who knows how to do it? (before I just make it and burn a c...

I've a cub12r just here. Power tubes are EL84, and that's all that change. It's aaaaaall SMD components but anode resistors. It is a cub of problems, I'm starting to hate it... But, as U said, Paul, it's very cheap and U have tubes, transformers, sockets, case, chasis, speaker... I think it's a grea...
