Re: New OTA Phaser Design - “Causality 4”

I was searching this thread to see if I posted my 1590a layout for this and couldn't find it.. so posting it now. ***note*** I don't remember ever testing this layout so it is unproven at this point. Re: my new delay, over the top PT2399's

The project on my materials is published on the Russian-language website. http://guitar-gear.ru/2018/at_delay/ There are all the necessary materials. I hope with the help of an interpreter you can translate the entire description correctly. what programme do you use for the Atmosphere Delay.lay fil...

I based this layout according to measurements of a 1590B-type enclosure.
Hey guys,
has this layout ever been verified?
If not, would you please point me to the verified layout..? :)
a read of the thread will reveal :-)

can you post a drawing of this on a schematic? I don't get how that would work cos then the 2200pF cap would go nowhere.

Re: Crowther Audio - Hot Cake Overdrive [traced]

Also, if I don't have i/o jacks wired in, how do I test the circuit? Sorry if this is all painfully obvious, I've really just been teaching myself. no worries - we all started somewhere.. firstly, these kinds of questions have all been asked and answered before. start here http://www.freestompboxes...

Re: Crowther Audio - Hot Cake Overdrive [traced]

Thanks for the quick reply! When you say Audio to Earth, Any suggestions on how to test for that? To clarify, I built the Mojo Cake rev. 1 here http://www.sabrotone.com/?attachment_id=1350 As far as I can tell, the switch wiring called for is only SPDT, as the layout calls for SW1 (Gain1,2), SW2 (G...

Re: Crowther Audio - Hot Cake Overdrive [traced]

if there's no audio in either bypass or engaged modes then the issue is unlikely anywhere on the PCB.
check your wiring on the 3pdt and/or i/o jacks. my money says you've got a short of audio to earth.

dmx switch

I have a bunch of cheapie ex china LED par cans that I use at gigs. I wanted a lil control over when it strobes vs 'sound activated' and unlike the old incandescent lams, and relayed power switch wont work cos they take ~20s to 'boot up'. I started looking at DMX controllers/dimmers.. all expensive,...

that's some great news and kinda what I was hoping .. will play about with this. Re: 6.3mm 6.5mm 1/4 trrs

agreed re the 3.5mm (and 2.5 also has them). .. I think I'll just stick a battery in the cavity and use a trs... reason being that if I stuck an XLR in, I'd want to do as you say delafred.. keep it consistent so I can use any other cable but that'd mean a mic cable and then I'd only have 2X signal a...

Re: 6.3mm 6.5mm 1/4 trrs

The socket would obviously be necessary. Seems that this is prolly either not in prod or fricking rare so maybe I should just stuck a battery in the back of the guitar. Seems a shame since it'll always be plugged in. Surely I'm not the first to consider this? Seems pretty obvious to me

6.3mm 6.5mm 1/4 trrs

trrs exist in 1/4" size? I've just purchased a TOM acoustic piezo bridge... what I'm thinking is that I can could use 4 conductors in a single cable for the following - earth - electric signal - piezo signal - +9v (from board PSU back up to drive the onboard preamp). I already have my board all wire...

Re: Subdecay - Liquid Sunshine [traced]

I deduced this from the PCB posted on Facebook. I've boxed the grounded end of C9 because its possible that it connects to either end of R21, or somewhere else entirely. It seems to me like all the traces are on the top side of the board and the bottom is mostly ground plane, with a few power runs,...
