I have a bunch of 4046s lying around, I'll fool around with them.
Does anyone know if the NE566 is obsolete? Is their an equivalent? I can't seem to find where to buy some.

VCO ICs
I'm looking for an IC that I can use as a synthesizer. I want to build a circuit that uses a microprocessors A/D converter (the analog being a real world input, say like a push button), and the output of the microprocessor would be a voltage that changes the frequency of an oscillator circuit. I wan...

Re: Mid-Fi Electronics - Pitch Pirate - Guts, Schematic [traced]
That would make sense to me, if it wasn't for the 9V connection AFTER the diode connected to the voltage regulator and cap. [ Image ] I think there's something I don't understand about electronics/schematics.... Just think of it as a way to not have to draw the connection between the point marked +...

Re: Mid-Fi Electronics - Pitch Pirate - Guts, Schematic [traced]
Sorry if we've been through this, but is there a point to the D1 diode?
If I'm reading the schematic correctly, it doesn't really make sense (to me) why it would be there when there is 9V applied again right on the other side of the diode....

Yup, I ordered it from Tayda as well.
Thanks, man! Excited to build this

Re: Neptune Delay - My take on modulated 2399 delay
Would anyone know if a KE-10720 would be sufficient for the LDR? I'm reading the datasheet, and it says the minimum dark resistance is half a meg ohm but doesn't state the maximum....http://www.datasheetarchive.com/KE-10720-datasheet.html the links is at the bottom of the page.

I got a new amp (uh oh)
Hey guys, Got me an old Acoustic Corp. 450 today, and it's got some problems. First things first, this amp has a volume control and a distortion control. I can only get sound out of the amp if the distortion is above 3 o' clock, and then can use the volume to, well, adjust the whole volume. If I hav...

How did you end up removing the cardboard? And if anyone has any advice as to the best way to do so, I'm all ears.HonkyMofo wrote:Trace side pictures:

Re: Skreddy Echo [gut shots]
So, was anyone able to make a schematic out of this? I would be very grateful for it.
