Re: Friedman BE-OD Pedal [traced]
Sync'd my scheme with Richie's part numbers. Much appreciated and cool to hear you have proto'd it. From here it might be useful to just get a list of part numbers and values that are missing. Just to get an idea of how far off we are. Quite a few Power supply caps, and likely some caps to drop the...

Re: Friedman BE-OD Pedal [schematic v4] [traced]
I did a lot of work on this the last couple of days and have some corrections for bmxguitarsbmx's schematic (can't face drawing it from scratch with my lame skills lol). I'll attach the modified version if you care to make the corrections and post it. I went over the pics and found a few things. One...

Re: Friedman BE-OD Pedal [traced]
I breadboarded bmxguitarsbmx's schematic to see how it came up. All the controls functioned more or less as expected apart from the bass control which did nothing audible. Replacing the pair of 33k resistors in his schematic with the unit's 3k3 values yielded a pretty useful control. The overall ton...

Re: Report Forum problems here
I've been having problems clicking to files linked to some projects. I get either a 403-Forbidden or a 404-Not Found error. All these files are listed at freestompboxes.org, they are not off-site links. Example: https://www.freestompboxes.org/members/bajaman/Baja/Baja%20Sagittarian%20Charger/footswi...

Re: Infinite Flanger Project
Apologies for bothering this thread with this, but is there a datasheet for the TDA1097 around ? Have looked, searched, scratched my head, searched again..., but can't find one. Thanks! I hunted hard too and never found any data details on the TDA1097 apart from a listing which mentioned the number...

Re: Infinite Flanger Project
Hi, Thanks so much for this! Good work :thumbsup I noted that the (double sided) PCB pattern was not provided in the original (HSR) article, so I was put off from building it. Out of curiosity, then, how did you design the PCB pattern ? Hi Toenail, sorry for the delay in replying, been kept away by...

Re: Cruncher Prototype
Scratch that - got it working. Wake, would you be so kind as to give us not so skilled with electronics a general walkthrough on how the triangle/sine converter actually goes about it's business? I'd love to :D but I'd be guessing! When I first saw it, the penny didn't immediately drop that the inp...

Re: Cruncher Prototype
Well I thought it was interesting! A new kind of distortion circuit (to me anyway) that doesn't use back to back clipping diodes?

Cruncher Prototype
Here's a novel distortion circuit built around the triangle/sine converter I used in my Infinite Flanger project. For that use see: https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4450 The triangle/sine converter on it's own actually works without batteries! It needs a high signal drive (hum...

Re: Infinite Flanger Project
Glad you got the zips to work and apologies for any confusion. Actually I realised there's a small error in the CV generator schematic although the pcb overlay was correct. I'll upload the corrected schematic here. The error was that the lower diode in the sine shaper was upside down. I used pdf fil...

Infinite Flanger Project
I've been working on this project on and off for 6 months or so, but it's finally in some sort of shape to hand over to the crowd! The Infinite Flanger is as it suggests a through-zero flanger (TZF) which was (at least until good digital emulations appeared) something of a holy grail in effects. The...

Nope, tried the usual things, cookies, cache, reboot. Still logging me out randomly. Maybe there's some issue with the cookie settings???

Why do I get logged out randomly?
Just the last couple of days I've been logged out randomly. For example, I'll open a couple of links in new tabs, one will open and the next will tell me to login...
