Re: *best* LDR for Mutron III / Neutron circuit [found/sold]

I built the madbean version of this pedal. made my own LED/LDR. everything seemed to work in UP mode but not in DOWN mode. I found out that the bias voltage at op amp, defined by R18 and R19 is not optimal. if you replace these with a trimmer working as a voltage divider, you can dial in just the ri...

Re: Ibanez CD10 Delay Champ Mods??

A little more clarity and transparency in the repeats might be nice.
sounds like you want a digital delay?

Re: custom programmable pedal switcher

arduino and some relays. needs some programmin but it is not that difficult. arduino mega has 54 digital outputs so that's plenty for your needs. you can get the real thing or buy a cheap chinese copy, they're ok. you can buy ready relay modules which you can control straight from the arduino output...

Re: Ibanez - FL-9 ( Flanger ) [schematic]

this is a great flanger, but i noticed a problem. the oscillating noise bleeds through when effect is bypassed. is there any mods that could help this (except using a bypass looper, of course)..

Re: Joyo Ultimate Drive True Bypass Mod

I am currently looking at this problem too. i bought two joyo pedals, the tremolo and the ultimate drive. tremolo is true bypass but ultimate drive is not. the funny thing is that both have exactly same 3pdt footswitch with exactly same mini pcb in it wired in the same way. apparently there is some ...

Re: List of Joyo Pedal Clones

has anyone looked at the Joyo Compressor more closely? I hear it is more transparent than dynacomp but i hate transparent compressors. i want the squashy sound that dynacomp gives. could the Joyo compressor be modded to give more squash or does it have any relation to dynacomp/ross?

varicap diodes

I bought some strange components from a military surplus store. found out they are variable capacitance diodes.. are there any guitar related applications for these?

Re: Maestro FSH-1 / Oberheim VCF / Tonepad Filter/Sample/Hol [schematic]

has anybody else had problems with the gain of the circuit? mine is very weak. are there any ideas to improve the gain or do i have to add a booster in front. Also what would i have to tweak to make the LFO go faster? I really can't find any use for the very slow sample&hold..

Re: Maestro FSH-1 / Oberheim VCF / Tonepad Filter/Sample/Hol [schematic]

my fsh is quite weak. the filters do not respond very well and it seems to lack gain. there is a significant volume drop when you put the effect on. it propably needs more gain in the input section. how could i do that? I used lm13700 instead of 13600 does that matter?
