Re: Ibanez DML20 clipping
Wow, I have the same pedal that also has those wires in the back. The wires on mine are green though.......... my unit has a huge NOISE issue as you constantly hear the LFO going through the audio (even in unmodulatoed settings). Really annoying. I was really wondering if someone had just modded min...

Re: Rams Head Big Muff FS36999 hFE measured
These FS36999 transistors are really 2N5133; I just fixed a '73 Ramshead Big Muff that had a transistor that was partially printed as 2N5133 and partially FS36999

Re: Chaser pedals / Chaser DL-4 Super delay
Hi! 1. All solder joints look identical. I do think there was someone who looked inside the unit, as it was missing two screws...... as yet, I find no real evidence of tampering 2. I thought this also, BUT the unit was made in Thailand. Most pedals from Boss at that timeframe came from Japan. As to ...

Chaser pedals / Chaser DL-4 Super delay
Hi all! As of lately, I havent been posting that much on here as my job as my two newborn sons really take a lot of time...... But lately, I've been digging into this 'mystery' and I hope you can help me! I've been looking into 'Chaser' pedals (or 'Chazer' as the fonts aren't that readable) I got th...

Hey all!
Anyone knows what kind of footswitch this is?
It is from a ISP decimator and it is broken.

Re: Mxr Carbon Copy
Would anyone know the value of Q2? (located underneath the mix knob??) I have one on the bench that had worked before but now the unit won't turn on. I tested the unit but the TL062 gets no power. I can trace the V+ up until Q2, then I lose it. Q2 looks really bad (like burned) so my best quess was ...

Re: MN3205 vs V3205; why won't my delay work
I know that v3205 work with limited power supply like 7V. Try limiting V+2 at 7V if it start to work. Bye Thanks! I tried limiting it by adding back the 100R resistor on the ground of the adapter jack. I removed that one because it worked on a 'standard' battery for years and that battery gave me m...

Re: EHX - Memory Toy [gut shots]
On my way fixed the problem
R80 was shot because C13 short circuited. C13 is a bypass capacitor and is located near U2. When removed the problems were over (after replacing R80 with a 10R resistor)

Re: EHX - Memory Toy [gut shots]
According to this site R80 is 10R
I've tried replacing the resistor with another 10R with no succes. The voltages of the board are still below 2V
Busy with tracing this unit........ very slow more information is available.
