I haven't thought about this for a while. I was hoping someone was up for the challenge, as I haven't had a spare moment the past 10 months. It's a really nice sounding phaser, with some cool features. Definitely a cool thing by Mr. Pigtronix.

Re: ROSS Red Flanger - Schematic?
The effect plugs straight into the wall. The transformer outputs 20VAC which is in turn rectified. However, even without the regulator (which is working fine on its own), there's a short from ground to V+ on BOTH of my pedals. Gotta get out the Sherlocks hat....

Re: ROSS Red Flanger - Schematic?
I've checked with other pictures of the innards of the Red's, and the chip is socked appropriately. It was the same in both pedals. I think there's a short somewhere, as the voltage regulator only gets 1,2V on it's input.

Ross - Red Flanger
Hi guys, Do any of you have the schematic for this effect? I've got two non-working units that I need to fix. My problem is really weird - it's a short between V+ and GND on BOTH units, and it seems to be only when the SAD1024 is plugged in. It's been tested to work in another circuit, so it shouldn...

Re: Pigtronix - EP-1 ( Envelope Phaser )
Hey Boris, No worries. I'll write in here when I'm gonna start tracing it myself - we can both work on it, for added redundancy of the finished schematic. @Rocklander: I'm gonna make a clone of it, as it really sounds good and is a very musical piece of gear. So all things fair, I've ordered one mys...

Hey Boris,
Did you get a chance to take a look at it? If so, have you come up with anything?

Re: HAO - Rust Driver [traced]
actually the unit I built "as-is" seems a bit noisy, I think some filtering would be useful... a 100R series from V+ followed by a 100 uF cap to ground could help getting rid of hum and RF, a 47-100uF form Vr to ground would too. That's what I thought. It's really good practice, and I do ...

One might also like to add some filtering of the V+ and the Vr. Just a thought.

Hey again,
No, the Tom Clancy-potential is not that big - I just messed up the extention's case on the last pictures. Fixed now!

Pigtronix - EP-1 ( Envelope Phaser )
Hi guys, I just got one of these for repair. An opamp was blown, so I replaced it, and took some pictures. It's a great sounding box with very interesting features, not unlike the classic Roland Phase Five (which I also have, if there is any interest), but more tonal options are available from this ...

Re: Subdecay Echobox
Hey Brian, That pedal sounds fantastic. I need to look into the PT80-project soon. It's also admirable that you are so open about your products. It really tells something about a person and his work. I build for myself and friends, but I have a lot of guitar students besides my own study, that need ...

Use more stages... (as done in the EH Hottubes). analogguru Thanks AG. I don't know how to do that yet in my noobness, but I'm gonna look into it. This'll be some great hands on learning! Thanks. Hello friend, If you check the schematic, you see two stages of the chip is used - one is configured wi...

Re: ONE-SPOT Power supply scheme?
Change your MAX1044's to LT1054's - they can put out 10 times the current, and have a max of 15V supply! I have recommended a lot of 1Spots, and all the guys and gals I know who use them, are very happy with my recommendation. Good job R.G.! For the DIY'er, check the net for "Switchmode power s...

Isn't that the guy who said his guitars were the best because they were blessed by Jesus, lord and savior?
The guitars looks like they are built OK, but the designs are awful!

Re: Roland - AP-2 ( Phase-II ) [schematic]
I took some shots if the PCB when I repaired one last time. I'll try to upload those, as well as what I have from the Roland Phase Five, if anybody is interessed? I also have a Ibanez PT-999 which is a Phase90 from Ibanez, if anybody wants to see that.
