Re: Help identify this obscure old Fuzz

Mr Fuzzbug, that's one rare bird you have there. If I could give you some sound advice, I wouldn't be surprised at all if you soon get a small flood of offers for the pedal from certain collectors. Rest assured, whatever you are offered, the true value of this pedal is likely double or more, so keep...

The Knob Supplier Thread!

Man..I had dozens of different knob suppliers links bookmarked. And then my fucking PC died. I'm trying to help a buddy choose knobs for a special run and I can't be arsed doing hours of google searches. How about we all pitch in and drop links for *just* knob selections? Maybe make it a sticky or s...

No one's put their hand up yet Ron..
It'd be great if you could check it out.
I just submitted a quote request. I asked the cost for 500 chickenheads.

Re: Does anyone know where I can get these knobs?

Is there any u.s. distributor for these? Ordering them from rapid results in about $70 shipping for $20 in knobs. Ask Ryan Kirkland(Skin Pimp). He used the ones pictured with the numerals on my Erotobender: http://www.rapidonline.com/Tools-Fasteners-Production-Equipment/Fasteners-Fixings/Knobs/23mm...

By the way, I meant to write 100 years there. Not being able to edit your own posts on this forum is pretty aggravating.

Re: Durham - Crazy Horse [goop-alarm] [traced]

If you're looking for someone to tear it apart, I volunteer my services. Talk to John Lyons about it; I traded the pedal to him this afternoon. I'm not really keen on participating in reverse engineering a commercial box that's in production, but what someone else does with something I give them is...

Re: DOD FX66 - Flashback fuzz [schematic]

I just opened up both boxes and had a look, and yep, same pcb in both, but different components all over, different opamp/IC's and caps, etc. I did a side by side with the two again to make sure I wasn't crazy, and I have to say again, they still sound very different. The root distortion type is sti...

That would be cool, thanks! I used to have a grunge, and remember it being not bad at all. Maybe it's time to look for another one, cheap. :-) I have one for sale if you want it! USA made, or at least the box it came in is.. Devastator, you're nuts, dude, I love how this pedal sounds! I'd...

Hey, since you guys mentioned my buddy and fellow tattoo artist Ryan and his building methods, here's another trick you can try out if you wanna go with a tattoo machine-inspired flavor. Tattoo machines utilize two binding posts to isolate the frame against the machine coils. These can be any conduc...

David Main told me this afternoon that he used to have one of these and enjoyed it quite a bit. For what it is, the price is good! I wish I had the monies for it!!

Someone needs to get these pics to Bart so he can add them to his database; its a rare bird indeed and these are great shots.
