has anyone here played one of these? if so how do they sound? searching for demos on the net have come up short im contemplating putting one together but im having second thoughts... is it going to sound grindy like satisfaction? or grindy like poop. could i substitute easier to get a hold of transi...

i built one of these off of mikes veroboard layout and i have a problem... it sounds great but i have this loud popping when its switches on and off. i used the beavis audio true bypass/w led but i also put a 1M resistor from before the input cap to the ground. i thought doing that would stop potent...

it was just two pictures of a schematic in blue and black. but holy crow this is a board and wiring diagram!! :shock: this is perfect! if i wanted leds id have to put in 3dpt's or a millennium bypass huh? p.s. if anyone has the justin philpotts schematic still i would love to see it also :D thank you!

is there any other resistor that i can use instead of the 4.99k? maybe a 5.1k or 4.7k? if i can install one of those will it change the sound?
