Re: MN3005 genuine or not?
Hi,
I bought two mn3005's of the same seller.
They arrived today. 1 is good the other is not working at all.
The sellers account was already removed by Ebay when I wanted to get in contact with him today.
Any of you know about this.
Thanks

Re: Aquaboy ver.2 - Aqua Puss board ordering info and document [documentation]
Well, I tried the trim pot idea and it did not work. t is still distorted. Only way to fix is turning down guitar volume. Initial sound is fine, but delay signal distorts especially on low notes. I started by setting bias to pass signal and then adjusted clock to get rid of whine. Cancel made no au...

[quote="destro"]Brian or Marc or anyone else for that matter, I used the v3205 for my build and am starting basic with one chip before doing the addons. Anyway, same problem with the distortion and too high of delay level marc noted as well as the oscillation. Fixed the oscillation problem...

Re: Aquaboy ver.2 - Aqua Puss board ordering info and document [documentation]
Sounds like lots of people are building this with the Cool Audio v3205. Is this working as well as the MN3205? I have a board and am getting ready to build it up. I'd like to hear your opinions. Where has everyone been getting their BBD chips? I have build this with madbeans pcb and abfackeln's mod...

Re: Analog Delay Add-Ons - Double Time, Modulation, Exp
I checked the soldering and that turned out ok. Changed the LDR (tried a few) and that made a difference. I can now use the whole range of the depth pot without the delay cutting out. That is good, but with the depth pot down I still have modulation. Is there something I can do to have all the modu...

Re: Analog Delay Add-Ons - Double Time, Modulation, Exp
@ gitaar0.... Have you checked all of your connections? Sounds like a potentially bad solder joint somewhere. Have you tried a different photocell/LDR value? I checked and double checked them, but I will sure check them again. I have not had the chance to change the LED/LDR combo. I will do that to...

Re: Analog Delay Add-Ons - Double Time, Modulation, Exp
Bump Anyone? Hi, I finnished an Aquaboy with the double delay time board (2x V3205) and the mod board. The delay works really well with the double delay time board. I can get quit a long delay without any clock noise. I do have some trouble getting the mod board to work right. The modulation board ...

Re: Menatone - Red Snapper (schem inside)
Sorry if this is 'resurrection day' for me, but I was playing/modding some pedals this weekend. I'd like a bit more bite/treble out of my Red Snapper; I built mine on the 'Snapster' layout PCB. I removed the 'Bite' trimpot, so the 1k resistor goes directly to ground. This helped a little since I se...

Re: Clinch FX - Ep-Pre ( Echoplex Preamp )
Hi, I have build the Ep Pre from the Fatpants layout, but I build it on perfboard. It works really well. Great sound. I do run into a strange problem. If I use the pedal in front of a VB-2 clone ( BYOC version of the Boss Vibrato) I hera a constant swooshing sound. I figured out that it had to do wi...

Re: Xotic - AC Booster [ goop-alarm ] [traced]
I worked some more on the AC booster as build according to the perf layout.
I changed C4 (.1uf) to 10nf and now it has a much better frequency range.
I would recommend putting C4 on a socket so you can adjust it to your taste.
