Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]

When leaving out the 3pdt switch, how do i have to solder the bridges and connect the switch solder patches? I am building two versions of the overdrive and both will be used in a looper array so the 3pdt switches won´t be needed. I tried to figure it out by myself but....:-)

Re: Blue Band Diodes - 1S1588...which one?

Greg, your right! The light blue ones are of a more tiny size and when looking at your picture the dark blue ones are the next looking to what i have here. Thanks!

Rose, you HAVE to use the 1S1588 even if they sound the same, otherwise it won´t be a Analogman MOJO Bluesbreaker

Blue Band Diodes - 1S1588...which one?

I am hunting parts for my Analogman King of tone clone and found "blue band" diodes in an old (maybe eighties) Panasonic Video Multiplex Encoder Unit. But when looking at the colour, it is more of an light blue/almost grey type...in comparson i also removed an dark blue diode from an old m...

Heres a photo of the limited edition copper version of the xotic bb preamp. The website doesn´t say anything if its an improved version or only the same circuit in a different shiny box

Re: Mad Professor Snow White Auto Wah [gut shots] [traced]

Thanks for the missing values! The two ICs are avaiable from futurlec, the LM324N for 0.25$, the LM13700N for 1,10$ if the ICs would be destroyed from unsoldering....but guess you are willing to sell it after cloning so be careful:-P Thanks for putting your time and money into that cool pedal and ma...

Try http://ampgarage.com or http://sloclone.yesterdaysrevolt.com/. The last one is a forum about cloning and tuning amps in general, focused on the soldano amps and others....the first one is all about cloning trainwrecks and dumble amps but also many amp builder are there who will help you out with...

Re: Baja B K Butler Tube Driver [documentation]

Hmm....too late. I just bought a used toroidal off ebay for real cheap (1,- Euro + 4,-Euro shipping), but still the dimensions are too big on everything for putting it in just one pedal housing as its height is almost 4cm and 8cm side from side....a pretty heavy one too, about 1kg:-/ As i already bu...

Re: Baja B K Butler Tube Driver [documentation]

I know this would be a post for the part sourcing section of the forum, but does anyone know a place (Europe/Germany)to get such tiny toroidals which are used in the original? The smallest i found (looking in shops and ebay)were still 76mm side to side and 3cm high, so if keeping the dimensions of t...

Re: Barber - LTD

How important is the mixture of different resitor types to nail the sound of the barber LTD, as there are 3 types, carbon comp, carbon film and?

What are the changes to turn a Barber LTD into the LTD SR (special recipe)?
