Re: Amptweaker - BigRock/TightMetal Pro [traced]

Here you go. Thanks to bajaman for letting me attach his (simplified) schematic. https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=28216&p=275399#p266213 Please revise and re-upload some form of corrected layout if you have it handy... 12V should be fed to pin 8? Hi, Actually, I redesigned...

Re: Diezel VH4 Pedal [schematic]

Here's mine. I designed my own pcb and sent it to JLCPCB. Used 7815 for the regulator since I have a 33V x 4 unregulated PS. Opamps were labeled OPAs but I think they're just a relabeled 072's(got them from Aliexpress cheap shit) and LT1054 for the charge pump. This thing sounds really good. It osci...

These are from JLCPCB. I'll attached the gerber files later when I'll reach home.

Just an update. I replaced the status LED from blue to red and now the LFO is working as it should without the "antenna" thing. :applause:

Re: TC Electronics - Stereo Chorus Flanger [pcb+layout] [schematic]

Boards arrived and populated the board, tested, tweaked the pots, trimmers and switch, and there is a light chorusing/flanging present somehow. However, status LED is not blinking. I thought I had a bad LM339. I replaced with a new one, still the LED won't blink, means the LFO didn't work. Swapped t...

Re: TC Electronics - Stereo Chorus Flanger [pcb+layout] [schematic]

Finally, I was able to finish redrawing almost everything in the layout based off of bajaman's Sprint trace. Ommitted the transformer though and replaced a dc jack instead. I've reviewed the layout several times as per schematic and baja's trace and it's good to go. Guess I already have a spare time...

Re: Toneczar - Openhaus [traced]

Built it. Sounds good or maybe nice at low strings for chugging and lead stuff BUT it had that kind of OCTAVE UP going on at the higher frets(12th fret up) . I find it weird. Is it supposed to sound like that?. LOL It turns out I mistakenly installed a 47n cap instead of 4n7 in the mid freq filter ...

Re: Toneczar - Openhaus [traced]

What did you use for Q1-Q6 and what opamps? (what hfe are your trannies? ) Plus, did you use a charge pump or straight to 18v? I used the specified mosfets LND150N, 2N5457 fet, and an equivalent of 2N1306 germaniums(they look really identical with the said germanium tranny). Opamps were all NE5532....

Re: Amptweaker - BigRock/TightMetal Pro [traced]

This is how I did with mine. I kinda fucked up the drilling of the two boost control pots. :slap: And also I used slide switch that I took from a dead M-Audio interface( I actually ordered sub mini toggles from Futurlec and still waiting for it to be shipped..poor customer service  ). I did fl...

Re: Amptweaker - BigRock/TightMetal Pro [traced]

Oh fuck!. I apologize. There's a mistake on that layout. I built it today and was wondering why didn't I get any signal. Only to find out that "Va" is supplied to 3 opamp's pin 8. I'll revise the layout ASAP.

Re: Amptweaker - BigRock/TightMetal Pro [traced]

What's the purpose of the second 1M trimmer and 18K resistor in the noise gate section BTW?. If the gate switch is in OFF position, the 4.75K resistor will be in parallel with the 1M trim/18K resistor. That means less than 4.75K in total resistance, right?. Same thing also when the switch is in ON p...

Re: Amptweaker - BigRock/TightMetal Pro [traced]

I made a single side pcb yesterday with boost function minus loops and LED lights. It's done already but I need to do final touch. Once finalized, I'll post it herre immediately. Oh BTW, what's the value of BOOST GAIN and BOOST MASTER pots?. And also I see from bajaman's pcb that R56 is 100K and C31...

Re: Amptweaker - Tight Metal [traced]

I'm building this up from DimbuGG's 'Tight-Ass' layout on p26. On the layout there are three blank capacitor slots between pins 1 & 2 on IC2 & 3 and pin 6,7 on IC1. Are these optional slots for small pF capacitors to reduce oscillation/noise? You can leave it without worrying against noise ...

EH-7850 ECHO (Deluxe Memory Man) 1590BB version

Well, at least you have the idea of what you'll be doing if ever you want to build this sucker!. 8) Also don't flame me for a shitload of jumpers on the layout. Anyway, it's a single-side and (hey,) it's FREE!!!. DC input would probably be 18V up to 30V.

Re: Ibanez - AD-80 Analog Delay [schematic]

I recently built this circuit using 4x MN3007, a 4047 clock driver(instead of MN3101) buffered with 4049 and an LFO from DMM/Dirtbag. I like the sound of this thing than any of my previous PT2399 delay builds. I kept the JFET switching as to me the bypass sound is ok.
