I don't think 10nF is right for C7. That creates a lowpass filter and completely destroys the pre-emphasis. I think 100pF is right.

and hey, can someone smarter than me explain why the fuzz pot works and sounds different depending on whether the 22uf cap's cathode is connected directly to ground, or coupled with the 100r resistor? does it make the cap seem bigger maybe due to ESR or something? or is it a low pass filter.. i mea...

This circuit is definitely Jordan Bosstone based, as is most of Paul Trombetta's work. It looks awful similar to the Rockett WTF (which he also designed).

Not just that, given the one gutshot we've seen (of the back of the board), 3 of the 4 pots are the same value as a Zendrive, the one difference being a 1M gain pot.

Definitely Burr Brown, so I'm going to guess OPA2134. Look at the silkscreen for the dual gang (CLEAN/GAIN). That screams Klon based.

The stacked pot is most likely custom. If I were to build this, I would just use 2 pots.

Not exactly. The term "Klone" means a copy of the Klon Centaur.

You can't exactly replace that 220pf capacitor (C2) with a 10uf, but you can operate the pedal without it. Try removing it and see what happens.
