Re: MXR - Dime Distortion [schematic]

I've got a Dime Distortion here that I'm trying to repair.
Does anyone have the original schematic they can send me?
The redrawn one doesn't seem to be 100% the same with the part name/numbering.

Re: MXR Equalizer Schematics [schematic]

On the ten band, is it possible to bypass the AC input and have it run right off of DC?
Does that mean it needs 15vDC or can it be modded to run on 9VDC (maybe with a charge pump and bipolar supply?)?

Loop switch with option for series or parallel?

OK - so I've looked around and I can find one or the other, but not one that will let me do both...

I'm looking to make a loop switch to have two loops, a master on/off and a switch to let me choose between series or parallel between the two loops.
Any ideas?

That translation makes for an amusing read.
:)

I wonder how close some of these mods are to the voodoo mods.
I know those sound great.

Marshall JMP-1 Preamp mods?

Anybody have any tone/gain mods for the JMP-1 rack preamp?
I know the Voodoo mods sound great, but yeah - those aren't published and I want to mod it myself.

Re: Catalinbread - Galileo Vox in a Box [traced]

Maybe it's an auto-layout issue with their PCB design software?
If so, that doesn't make things look so pretty.

Re: Catalinbread - Naga Viper [traced]

I built this from the vero layout and it has a very thin (in a bad way) tone. Instead of using the 40uF, I used 47uF but I wouldn't assume that would cause the issue. edit: Instead of a 68nF, the closest I had was a 57nF as well.. I've gone over it a couple times and continuity tested to make sure t...

Sitting here bored at work; honing my Eagle skills and worked up this layout/PCB.
Anyone care to give it a look and see if you have any suggestions.

On the first page; gut shots - I see red LEDs on the board -- why are those not shown on the layouts posted?

Re: Xotic EP-Booster [traced]

While reading thru this one, I kept seeing guys asking about how to wire it up with a switch and such. Since schematics don't normally show the switching, I figured I'd do a quick pic to show how a schematic and switch wiring work together. Use this wrapper from the awesome Beavis Audio site; I use ...

Yeah - labeling the cartridge itself would be best. Like this. Excuse my lame photoshopping. http://bandslink.com/share/console_naming.jpg HEY! EDE2208 Momentary to Toggle IC

I have a few of these in my stash, but have never used them. Here's the datasheet for it. http://www.galleri-soegaard.com/PD2/E_lab/ede2208.pdf And here's the part of the schematic showing how it works. http://bandslink.com/share/ede2208.JPG So, to me it looks like you could use momentary switches t...

Simple MIDI switching

I know there are several midi switching/controller projects, but all that I have found are far more complex than I need/want. What I am looking for is something that will function the same way as FOUR 4PDT latching switches. It needs to have midi in and midi thru. I prefer if somebody could help me ...
