Re: Sound Sample Help
Direct to the computer's mic jack would be the cheapest way. Build a little preamp pedal to boost the signal some. Use Microsoft's Sound recorder to capture the audio.

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
Grathan, there isn't much wiring to do ! If you check the pcb i believe that there are only 3 wires to connect, one of them is used to ground the chassis ( near the 3pdt switch) and the other two to connect the led near the 7915. Great, now if I only knew where the components went I'd be all set. :?

Re: Group Order of Way Huge Aqua Puss PCBs
I waited to see if I could get a chip before I ordered a board. If anyone decides they have an extra board they don't need I would be very happy to buy one.

Re: Van Amps Sole-mate or Reverbamate
I emailed Mr. Fassel about a noise issue( Large appliances in my house switching on cause a huge ripple of noise in my amp). HE said I was first person ever to ask about noise caused by the sole-mate and that I should send the unit in for them to look at( leaving me without a unit to play through :r...

Re: Tone Generation for debug/building
looks neat, of course I messed it up... On the RG keen Twin Tee iscillator 1.) does this require 2 seperate 9v sources or can I just jumper the 9v+ hookups together? 2.) Is that a connection where the lines cross under the 4.7k? 3.) how do you hook this up? Let's say I have an input and outpu...

Tone Generation for debug/building
Looking for some ideas since strumming a guitar while testing can be such a hassle. hooking up an ipod that loops a recorded guitar signal? This seems like it might work, but is the signal even ac? Is there a way to make this work so that the output of the effect being tested gives similar results l...

Re: Van Amps Sole-mate or Reverbamate
I'm sorry I was misunderstood. It does have a few other components. I can't recall them all off the top of my head, but they weren't uncommon. I think mouser had everything except the dual ganged pot and the accutronix tank.

Re: Just Trashed a Rocktron Sonic Glory.
I really like the 45w hollow tip bulb sucker that Radio Shack has. I haven't done any IC chips yet, but it does clean the hole pretty good. At 45 watts it's fast and at like $12 it's also cheap.

There isn't much in it. Couple 2200uf caps and the tank with some voltage regulating.

Re: Looking for solid state relays.
I'm looking at the sparkledrive circuit.
Is that a switch to avoid using a true bypass switch? or is it part of the effect circuit? I'm just wondering if I can save this optoisolator for an expandora circuit instead...

does a 22nf + 22nf = 44nf? Not to be difficult but if you google "Capacitors" the first link points to Wikipedia where you can find everything you need to know about capacitors. Among the other things, how to connect them . This thread is now #1 for "chain capacitors". :h...
