Re: Durham Electronics - Sex Drive [traced]
Reviving this old thread. Is this verified? Thought this pedal had buffered bypass but I'm not seeing that here.

Re: BBE - Green Screamer modification
I put them on the sides towards the bottom. As I recall there was lots of room.

Re: List of Joyo Pedal Clones
Probably worth mentioning that the "Valco" pedals from Eastwood seem to be rebranded Joyos.

Here's a pic of the back of the board. 3 board-mounted pots, maybe an IC in the center. Looks like fairly low parts count. YATS?

Re: Bigfoot FX Magnavibe [traced]
I wonder if it matters & if these need to be polarized at all...looking at the LFO in the EA tremolo there's a similar circuit using non-electrolytic caps. May just be easiest & cheapest way to get 1uF caps...

Re: Bigfoot FX Magnavibe [traced]
Was just looking at this schematic and the associated layouts (great job, all!) and I wonder if this electrolytic cap wasn't drawn backwards? It makes more sense to me the other way 'round, and that's how it's oriented on the Wobbletron. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15656423/FSB/MV1.jpg http://dl.dropbox...

Have any of you measured NKT275s from AM Sunface?
Hi all, I have to say, this is an awfully good sounding FF. I had one that I sold and am wishing I had taken some measurements before I sold it. My question is: has anyone on here taken measurements of Q1 and Q2 from an AM Sunface? Best of all would be if you have gain and leakage measurements from ...

Re: Lot of 10 NOS NKT213s
Hey,
I have 10 left. Price would be the same: $100 shipped to the US.
Let me know soon as I was about to list them on eBay...
thanks,
John

Re: Lot of 10 NOS NKT213s
No, they are not tested...I haven't even taken them out of the package I got them in. Here's what I wrote in the auction: A couple years ago I got really into building effects pedals. I bought a lot of 40 of these hard-to-find trannies at that time. I got them from a radio repair guy in England who ...

Lot of 10 NOS NKT213s
I've gotten out of the pedal-building hobby and have listed a set of 10 of these on eBay. I know about the eBay rule, so rather than post a link to the auction, I'll offer them here at a fixed price of $100 per set of 10 including shipping to the US. If the auction outcome suggests that price is not...

I guess I've gotten over the box-building bug and am moving back to my acoustic roots. Meanwhile, I have a bunch of parts for building these boxes including tagboard, all components, new PedalEnclosures hammertone boxes...everything you need really. Anyone interested in buying kits? I also have 30 u...

C1 is 100nf, or 0.1uf. I think I used one of these: http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=163 C2 is 100uf electrolytic. (Small Bear inexplicably designates microfarads as mf instead of the standard uf or μf). I think I used one of these: http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=188 Hope that ...

Re: Baldwin-Burns - Buzzaround [schematic]
I have some on the way that look like they should work well. I'll post details once I've had a chance to inspect in person.
Back to the NKT213, has anyone ordered from Cricklewood? I'd hate to order at 5 GBP a pop, plus shipping, only to find they're all leaky or don't have the right gain ranges...

Re: Baldwin-Burns - Buzzaround [schematic]
Thanks, I've read the thread numerous times and as I read that post, it was just an educated guess. Graemey (and others) can probably answer better, but I would "guess" that having Q1 and Q2 in the 40-70hfe range (each) and Q2 in the 120-140hfe range should give pretty good results... lots...

Re: CAE Sound preamp CB2 - The one in the Warren Haynes Les Paul [traced]
i'm sure that would drive the FOH guy crazy- you get his guitar balanced against the rhythm player's, and then he goes switching it in and out of phase the whole show! i know i wouldn't want to have to deal with that. especially playing in smaller rooms where it the amp and PA sounds could get swit...
