I would like to build mesa markIII style graphic EQ. About the inductors - could I use the one sold at tayda - http://www.taydaelectronics.com/servlet/the-Inductors/Categories Or do I need to use this ones, that are used in original mesa amp - http://www.tubeampdoctor.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_4...

Try something like this

Try using 5k or 1k pot, it worked best.

Re: Tap Tempo fpr PT2399
Almost true....
When you engage tap tempo mode, the delay pot takes the funcition of "tempo divider"
Furthest CW - Quarter Notes
About 2 O’clock - Dotted Eighth Notes
About 10 O’clock - Eighth Notes
Furthest CCW - Triplet Eighth Notes

Re: Fulltone - OCD [traced]
Do you experience a lot of bass with version 4?
I built it on mark m's layout, just folowing the schematics. Is this normal? When I tried other versions,, it didn't have so much bass.

SS guitar power amp
Hi everyone!
Does anybody have schematics of a solid state guitar power amp?
I am planing to build a SS amp, Sansamp fore preamp and some SS power amp.
I need 30W, foa an practice amp design. I have been looking at datasheet for TDA2050, which looks suitable.
Any sugestions?
Thanks!

Re: Xotic - BB Preamp [traced]
Hmm, my bb is working fine with this layout i made....
Hum sounds like a ground problem. Check the power filtering diode going to ground - orientation!
Check the schematics kusi posted - i made layout after that one.
And also check the transistors - try 2n5088 or 2n3904.

Re: Catalinbread - Hyper Pak [traced]
I have built this one on royzic's layout (breadboard). It is indeed very very dynamic OD/boost. Bot there is one problem with mine - there is nice drive only om max volume setting, if i back down volume, it gets muddy, and the treble gets attenuated. It is also kind of fizzy when i have volume on gu...

Re: Catalinbread - Dirty Little Secret [traced]
A very very very very very ...... very quick prefboard design, which could use some optimising:
Unverified, please report errors.
It doesn't include 100uf cap for power filtering, which i usualy stick on the DC jack

Re: Fulltone - OCD [traced]
Has anybody tried OCD with a diferent tonestack? I've built mine on MarkM's layout, it sounds killer and it's been my main OD ever since. Gain on 11 is all i need. I've modded mine with 100k vol pot, 500k drive pot and an NE5532. The best combo, more punchy and dynamic to my ears compared to an orig...
