Re: Ibanez TL5 Tremolo [schematic]
Maybe this should be moved to the "pimp my pedal" section on FSB. ? I have searched high and low on the internet for a definitive Ibanez TB switching guide (Boss too?) and there is absolutely nothing definitive to help one make this happen? I know i am just a beggar with some soldering ski...

Re: Ibanez TL5 Tremolo [schematic]
So, back on topic ...if I nuked the R41 to Q1 leg and jumpered Q1 G & D would that pass an all on signal...
All help appreciated.

Re: Ibanez TL5 Tremolo [schematic]
Wow Dirk! I think I know where you are coming from...Just so you understand, I am wearing my "Save the Soundtanks" T-shirt. I like them too! I use a TL-5 on my main board and it gets used often with one band I play in. I`ve wanted to do this rehouse for quite some time. I have reasons that...

Re: Ibanez TL5 Tremolo [schematic]
I'd like to rehouse my TL5. Better enlosure/pots & 3PDT switch.
Referencing Dirks schematic: Am I correct in thinking that if I pulled Q1&Q2 (2SK118-0) and jumpered the respective gate and drain points I would bypass the original Ibanez factory switching?
Any help appreciated!

Turret board builds-how to? Skin pimp Skinpimp...
So... while visiting a friend of mine recently, he showed me his Skinpimp (Skin Pimp?) Tonebender Mk III. As a pedal builder, I was completely impressed by the turret board/ point to point build on attractive varnished wood construction! Here are a few pics of the pedal I saw. http://www.bjfe.org/vi...

Re: Soul Sonic - TWMNBN Freakout Noise Fuzz
Wow!, right on Martin. That's a sound clip to be proud of! I built this when you first posted it and it's been on the backburner since. My build didn't seem to be happening sonically so I ordered some of the correct diodes but never got back to it. I have the Bat41's now. I recall on some other thre...

No offense, for some reason I thought that you had built one when you mentioned that you had played through one.RnFR wrote:i don't understand this comment. everybody has a chance to donate. and if you donate ANYTHING AT ALL, you get to see the (yet unfinished) schematic.fuzzca wrote:....Ahh, the FSB glass ceiling).

Re: BJF - Honey Bee Overdrive degooped [traced]
fuzzca.. that's a thoughtful post and I have to agree with many points. The "solder jockeys" worry me too. I have no problem with someone building it for themselves.. nor with someone who can change the circuit in a meaningful way and sell it as something that sounds different.. that's th...

Re: BJF - Honey Bee Overdrive degooped [traced]
well, i finally got around to playing through one of these things last night, and i have to say, i just don't get what all the fuss is about. i mean the pedal does very, very little to your guitar signal. and what it does do, could probably be better achieved by just turning up your amp and driving...

Thanks for the schem! Any idea what gain range the 2Sc1815's are? I looked up the 2Sc1815 data sheet and it has a note on the HFE classification: Note: hFE classification O: 70~140, Y: 120~240, GR: 200~400, BL: 350~700 If you still have the unit could you check and see if there are any additional ma...

Re: Soul Sonic - Folk Driver, The Honey Bee Challenge!
I built this "on the quick" yesterday and wanted to add a couple of "honey" moon comments. First off, thanks to Soulsonic for the fine efforts. I have a friend who owns an original Honeybee and has sung it's praises to me for a few years now. I had the opportunity to test it out ...

Re: Van Amps Sole-mate or Reverbamate
Sure,Gratham, that would be great. When you get the unit back it would be nice to see both of the boards inside, front and back. The patent application has a full schem and parts values but I noticed from the posted pics in this thread that the actual pedal might deviate from the patent application ...

Re: you can help to fight the goop - FSB Tracer's Fund
Hey, any chance of a "heads up" on parts to order for the Honey Bee?
No panic, but I was just thinking that it would be nice to have the parts on hand when the schem is revealed.
Just a thought,
Thanks!

Re: Van Amps Sole-mate or Reverbamate
Hey! Found this http://www.google.com/patents?id=ReCUAAAAEBAJ&dq=spring+reverb+pedal Is that the Sole Mate? I'm not seeing what's patentable about that design. Pretty mundane driver and recovery circuit. I think it's the Reverbamate due to the schem having a direct out and an effect out. I am p...
