Re: George Dennis Parametric Wah + Vol

I once had to repair a George Dennis wah (the normal orange one). I wrote an email to them and had schematic and layout in my mail the same day. Maybe there is no need to trace that.

Re: Brunetti Taxi Drive [traced]

.... and 470 ohm .... You're right. It is 470 Ohm apart from the 220p cap Right again! ,there is some confusion from the numbering of components, recheck that. What exactly is confusing you? Diode missing? can you desolder it? Yes, there are two diodes not installed that have deisgnators on the silk...

Have you seen the pictures in the first post? When you click on them (twice), they are full resolution!

Re: Brunetti Taxi Drive [traced]

After some desoldering here is my final version with all the values.

Could somebody who actually knows some electronics check the schematic on plausibility? Especially the JFET section with the two 1M resistors look unfamiliar to me. Can this be right?

Brunetti Taxi Drive [traced]

I finally did it. My first "real" trace. Still, three cap values are missing but I am going to get them sooner or later.
Would you kindly look over the schematic for some obvious beginner's mistake?

Re: Darkglass B3K [traced]

Hi Cub,

yes, thanks. I knew that kit. But indeed I'd need a schematic to do my own. Preferably in a 1590a and without the relay bypass.

I found the Vintage model and guess I am just as happy with this one.

Cheers!

Darkglass Electronics - Microtubes B3K [traced]

Hi,

has anybody out there a schematic for the Darkglass B3K? That would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

These pictures are great. As soo as I have some time to spare I'll try to match my existing schematic to those.
Thanks a lot!

Re: Trace Elliot SMX Dual Compressor

Bonjour Monsieur Le Basseur,

i haven't given up on this pedal, just put it aside. Could you provide links for these German pictures?

Thanks!

Re: Ibanez - NB-10 Noise Buster [schematic]

Thank you very much for this schematic and the layout. I modified Rockman's layout (sorry for the two huge jumpers) as there were some deviations from the schematic. I already build it and it astonishingly worked first time. I have no idea how good it works, because I have to test this in my rehears...

Harley Benton - NG-100 Noise Gate [schematic]

This is my first attempt on tracing a pedal. I chose this one (in case you wonder why to trace a pedal for 24,99) because it a) has a really great swell sound (I am unhappy with my Slow Gear clone and even unhappier with the three failed attempts to get a Paia Gator working properly with my guitar s...

Re: Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone Germanium Gold LTD [traced]

Thanks. So this means it should sound quite allright with my 13V supply. The "Grit" sounds VERY much like a fuzz even I turn the knob up only a bit. Not very similar to the youtube demos that made me believe this is THE compressor for me (I very much like compressors and very very much like mild ove...

Re: Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone Germanium Gold LTD [traced]

I finished a Philosopher’s Tone yesterday night and ran into some trouble with the 15V power line. Some time ago I bought a real “bargain” on ebay. Lots of LT1054 (smd) for small money. Upon arrival from overseas it turned out that they were LT1054L (the L standing for a max of 7V input). Now I thou...

Mike, you can’t see the pictures I posted? They are standard photobucket-uploads. Or are you referring to someone else? Re: Wampler Faux Spring Reverb

I am trying to understand the schematic mmoleratx posted (mostly because I did a layout that doesn’t work). For my build I did two substituions: The two TL072s are replaced by one TL074 and the BTDR-1 is replaced by a BTDR-2. My questions are: 1. The substitutions shouldn’t be a problem, right? 2. I...

Re: Trace Elliot SMX Dual Compressor

After staring at that circuit for about three months I have to realise that I simply don’t know enough about pedals and electronics in general. But I am willing to learn. With a bit of luck my learning process will result in a pcb for all interested pedal builders. First question: What is this const...
