How to bypass a circuit when no power
Hi,
I designed a circuit for a buffer that sounds really good!
BUT, when it doesn't get the 9DCV, well it obviously sounds bad since it' an active circuit.
How can I bypass the circuit when it has no power getting to it? (without a toggle)

Re: Build a phase invert
How about you figure out yourself what the difference between the subtypes is. My bet is that in most cases it's the housing. yes. You can use any opamp. An opamp is an opamp ant they will all work. I don't see noise as a big issue with a -1 amplifier. yes it can run on +/- 9V Well, actually the di...

Re: Build a phase invert
Check out Runoffgroove's splitterblend, is has a phase invert switch: http://www.runoffgroove.com/splitter-blend.html Thanks all, I think I'll go with this design. One more question: Can I use the TLE2072 instead of the TL072. I've read that it's clearly superior to the 072, both in noise specs and...

Build a phase invert
Hi all,
There are some versions of the AB/Y spliter by R.G.Keen over the web.
Can someone PLEASE direct me to the most updated one?

Re: Effect with Tuner Out
To my knowledge the footswitch should be placed when the connectors on it are parallel to you. Just like in the drawing, no?

Effect with Tuner Out
Hi all, I want to build an effect with a tuner out controlled with a 3pdt. It should have two LED's. One for the effect and the other for the tuner. I've built it last night, but the LED's are not lighting up. Anything wrong with the diagram? https://img441.imageshack.us/img441/7880/buffertunerm.jpg

dual buffer/ground loops
Hi all, I am thinking of building a dual buffer pedal without a switch. The idea is to use 2 buffers as the first and last in the chain in one box. so I am thinking of building a pedal with guitar-> into "IN_1"-> into buffer1 circuit ->"OUT_1"-> through all my pedals-> into "...

Re: Cornish Stereo output/Input
Sorry for your 10min, don't know what was over me when drawing this! Must have drank before :D Yes, I am referring to the G-2 schematics when drawing this. Anyways, this should be much more accurate (the 3pdt was taken from one of the sites linked here in this forum). But again I have trouble with t...

Re: Cornish Stereo output/Input
Thanks! I tried following all (too much read :) ) According to what I understand, the following is the wiring diagram sketch. Just couldn't understand where and how to connect the Resistors/Cap to the output. Also, need help with how to connect the input. http://boidek.wix.com/cij-62-reissue Can som...

Cornish Stereo output/Input
Hi all, First, This is my first post here so hello everyone :) my question is: I noticed Pete Cornish is using stereo inputs and outputs on his pedals and he also grounds each input/output to the enclosure. 1. Any Idea why stereo and not the regular mono? 2. why grounding the input/output? 3. Also n...
