Re: Bluesprint - pedalpawn
They're claiming it was traced from one of SRVs personal TS-9s (guess we know who bought the one that came up for sale a few months ago). I've never read that his pedals Tube Screamers were modified in any way. I plan on waiting for the frenzy to die down and grabbing a used one unless someone here...

Re: Roger Mayer Classic Fuzz - current version
I've built a RM Classic Fuzz with AC128's after analysing a real one a couple years ago (2019-2020, Can't rememeber now). Honestly, nothing special. It's a regular FF tuned up to sound a little louder/gainier. I've also built a couple of times from an older schematic that can be found online and nev...

Re: Benson Preamp help!! [SOLVED]
Nice, congratulations. I've also spent days trying to troubleshoot a pedal just to find it was something (almost) obvious.

Re: Benson Preamp [SOLVED]
- the only signal/sound I get is when I turn the gain off/CCW and then turn it CW perhaps 5%.. theres a white noise scratch sound. - This sound can me altered by the volume (louder/softer obviously) but also by the treble (sharper/duller)... the bass pot doesn't produce any audible difference. Any ...

Re: Kingtone - Duellist
Let me guess, the TS side is a Son of Screamer with diode clipping selection and bass control.

Re: JHS - Superbolt [traced]
Hi Andy! I bought my J201 on a store here in Brazil. The label of J201 is BA17 J201 - Fairchild, apparently brilliant background. I changed the 4n7 capacitor after tone pot for more tone control, but i dont like the result. Oi, another Brazilian here Can't comment on your JFET's being fake or not -...

Re: Roger Mayer - Fuzz Face AC128
This is what he calls the "Classic Fuzz".
The current version uses a 50K (47K?) trimpot for the first transistor collector bias and a 10K output resistor.
And from the top of my head, the usual 8k2 resistor is 10K on the more recent versions of Classic Fuzz.

Re: Hermida Audio - Mosferato M2 (2004)
Found this slightly earlier version:
One can tell he is using 2 germanium diodes and 2 transistors for the clipping section and one of the IC's is a RC4559.

Vertex - T-Drive [traced]
I traced the Vertex Ultraphonix, an it is a modified zen, with fixed Voiced pot value at 2.35K. Its Filter pot is the Zen Tone pot. Two 1k restors were omitted, the 1k one connected to the center Gain pot, and one 1k connected to the high volume pot. Instead it has 10k resistor between the volume h...

Re: Vertex - Steel String Singer [traced]
I wouldn't bother with that, it's a Zendrive clone.StratWiz wrote:Does anyone have schematic or trace for Vertex Ultraphonix overdrive, a D-syle pedal?
The steel string drive's bother.
Thanks
