Re: Binson e4t feedback

there it is This is the delay general concept. With multiple heads things are not exactly the same... In a tape echo you can change the amount of delay increasing or decreasing the tape speed and/or the distance between record and playback heads. Feedback causes increasing the number of repeats and...

Re: Binson e4t feedback

The number of repeats is based upon the number of playback heads, four in this case. (?)

Re: Tri Stereo Chorus Block Diagram

The general idea is the modulation of three different BBDs with three low frecuency waves at the same speed but phase spaced 120 degrees each other. This aproach produces a very rich wavering sound even when heard in mono. It was very common in “string ensemble” keyboards in the eighties. Send BBD1+...

Re: Understanding Seymour Duncan KTG-1 boost switches

Hi j-fish

The 0.1uF cap / 1M resistor are part of the silent FET switching. The cap slows down the quick FET action to make it clickless. They don't affect the frecuency response. IMHO

I am not sure that's a good idea... An 8 pin DIN system would be better.

The_ungod idea is most effective anyway for a large system

Re: Remote switching for racked effects.

Sorry Cymbal Monkey. I'd been busy... Just put all the circuit above inside a box in your rack. Connect each of the 4 send jacks to your 4 stompbox inputs. Connect each of your outputs to the return jacks. Plug your guitar to the input in the A section. Connect the A section output jack to the B sec...

Re: Remote switching for racked effects.

I designed this some years ago. It works fine for a 4 fx rack.

Re: Musitronics - Mutron Volume Wah (1979) guts

Interesting. There was an Ibanez rack mount multieffect similar to that. I can't recall the model name, but i think it was very similar. Each effect (+ an external insert) had an "instapatch posititon" switch that allow the user to set quickly the place of every effect in the chain.
