Re: Inkscape and Gimp - Tips and Templates for Stompboxes
After some research i have a tip for noobs like me to make simple vectors to make our stompboxes look nicer. The tool to use is "Create Tiled Clone" at the Edit-> Clone menu. You can use whatever you want, dots, traces, stars, and so on ... There are several ways of doing this, i will expl...

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
The 30 Amp fusewire I use is approximately 1mm in diameter - it makes a nice rigid assembly. Most Electrical wholesalers stock it here in NZ. Failing that try solid tinned copper wire from your local electronics store. cheers bajaman Thanks!!!! I don't know why but fuse wire doesn't seem to be stoc...

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
Grathan, there isn't much wiring to do ! If you check the pcb i believe that there are only 3 wires to connect, one of them is used to ground the chassis ( near the 3pdt switch) and the other two to connect the led near the 7915. Great, now if I only knew where the components went I'd be all set. :...

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
I am having trouble finding fuse wire where i am. Could I just use solid copper wire instead? What size would be good for this? I can not find a diameter for 30 amp fuse wire. Fuse wire ? Why do you want fuse wire ? Sorry... i'm a bit lost ! I just use stranded wire for my stopmbox builds...

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
Well. thanks.
It's easier and cheaper to redraw the pcb to use more common used pcb jacks than order just a pair of them.
In this build i will bend the leads and use epoxy glue to hold the jacks to the pcb.

Re: BAJA Real Tube Drive pedal project [documentation]
First, i want to thank Bajaman for this great project. [smilie=a_goodjob.gif] I'm not a TubeDriver lover but i decided to build this one because the sounds samples are great and building a tube pedal that fits an Hammond 1950BB enclosure it's awesome ! I'm trying to get some help on this : http://www.phpbbserver.com/freestompbox ... stompboxes
Can anyone compare the components between the Tonepad and the Fulltone version ? My Tyco Octafuzz is not so "octave" like the Fulltone samples....
Thanks.

Thanks bajaman ! Excellent work ! I have already build two of them. My first try was the GGG, i had some problems with noise even with a outside 12VAC power supply. My second try was more acceptable, it was one layout that was floating around in the other forum but i had one problem i couldn't solve...
