Re: Strymon Ojai/Zuma
Hi guys! I have a ZUMA but there was an electric incident. Amazingly only a resistor was carbonized by the electric shock, and I need replace only that resistor but there is no way to obtain the correct value. Could you help me to obtain the value? I Did you ever find the value of this resistor? I ...

Re: Ibanez WH10 V2 volume control
I just got a client that wanted the boost mod done to a V3. I don't have V3 schematic, but I was hoping it didn't differ much from V2 (thank you @Dirk). For the mod, I thought swapping R11 (430k in Kirks' schematic) for a variable resistor to tame the signal gain going to the output. So it seems tha...

Got a hold on this one for a few days. Took photos and checked the component values. There are 2 photos from the back side, with and without the brick. Need another photo? Any specific angle? Only a photo from the complete solder side without backlight. (sorry, I already resoldered the brick. This pedals not mine, so I had to put it together asap) Here are two more, front and back ...

I personally put the PCB on the scanner and get the image in this way using an high resolution.

So I got my hands on this little puppy. BTDR-3 brick based reverb. Trying to trace it - would love some help , I know some of us are photoshop wizards and can make overlapping traces very easy to find. Re: Wampler - Plexi-Drive [traced]
Sorry for the necro guys, but I think I have some pertinent info on this circuit. I love Brian's work and tried to replicate this pedal using a PCB from a well known UK seller and populating it with components according to the schematic that was posted here. It happens that it doesn't quite match th...

Re: Catalinbread - Galileo Mk2 [traced]
I built it and like it very much (I used 10n between vol 1 &3 which helps a lot to control the highs), the only "issue" I'm having is that even with the gain pot rolled back all the way CCW I have a ton of gain, any idea how I could solve this ? Thanks Had the same issue. I just playe...

Can you check the value of input resistor for Surpreme? If it has one?
I know it has a 500K pot for pre, but I was wondering what happens when the pot is @ 0 Ohms.... woudn't that be a too much input signal?

Re: Ibanez - FZ-7 Fuzz (Help me modify this fuzz!)
RE-RE-Ressurecting! A friend of mine just gave me a FZ7 and asked me to mod it as I please.... I have the schematic, it's kind of strange looking one, for me at least... I was wondering if one could change the clipping diodes (D5/D6) for anything else... Are there any other mods I could do to...

Re: Roc Pro 1000 combo - volume and pop problems
I have a Fender Roc Pro 700 and it has the same problem. After looking at the schematic, I noticed that volume and gain pots are linear instead of Log. I think this was a design flaw. If the volume pot was changed to a log taper pot, it would prevent this sudden jump in volume. I haven't done that,...
